I wonder if Reynolds is selling his lot?
freddie, why the griping? What is the problem with Hamilton, why is it going downhill?
It's bound to affect Illumina, it probably is already if labs are moving away from their current system to Ygen/Ranger. They must be favourites to get new start up lab business too. You just feel the likes of Illumina will have something up their sleeves to scupper everything.. They do mention that they have been working with Illumina on projects so all seems amicable for now.
Cheeky $100M bid from Illumina incoming?? That's about a 50% premium on current mcap.. Of course it won't be accepted, but doesn't stop them trying.
and Illumina, TF et al will know all about it too. When Illumina get a sniff of the latest uni results and that potentially affects their sales of big expensive equipment,.. so maybe bingo!
When proof of the dollars start coming through then peeps will take notice I expect.
I also like that Ygen get all those Ambry products in exchange . Top quality oncology too . Sounds a very good deal.
freddie, I know people who say the tech has a great future, is disruptive and there is much interest. Also knocks spots off illumina and saves one helluva lot of money too!
and does your contact know what the plans are for Ygen/Ranger in the near future? Does he know anything about future customers?
freddie, and what was your old position in the company?
So freddie, there will be no revolution coming then? and Ranger is a myth? lol
freddie, another annoyed ex employee by any chance?
freddie, and how do you know this?
I suppose they want to get it into whole workflows to sell the add ons as much as anything. Whether it's bought or licensed we don't know, might be a bit of both!
Sounds like they are still learning about what the product can do, as they didn't know about the great results with EDTA tubes against the Streck ones until the other day.
what are the chances of a resignation Stas...about zero!
they do say that the sp will look after itself 'in the long run'... yeah right! Have people lost confidence in management, the business model, LR, the products, lemming mentality or all of the above?
CMD went well then? lol. I bet the CFO and COO wished they had waited a bit before they bought! I bet HJ thought he was on fairly safe ground at 8.44p...Suppose we have to say it's a good call from LR to keep well away so far, even though he thinks 12p+ was a good price to invest. hmmm! how about 7.5p Mr Rees?
What I am convinced of, is that it is and will be worth plenty more that the current £55M .
Yes, I will agree on that. The pace currently is pitifully slow where s/h are concerned! When words like 'revolution' are bandied about then then the big bucks should follow. Hopefully sooner than later too. Once this second megalab gets onboard then it will add plenty more credibility for the tech , the company, and selling price of say upwards of £300M or maybe more if the tech really hits the spot and they have a few interested! It is revolutionary after all! lol
anyone got a bit of info on these questions;
Q15: How does the recent FDA views on false positives results on NIPT affect the Yourgene test?
This relates to microdeletions – a product upgrade we will launch mid-year. We have been watching the feedback and are confident our product will not face the same challenge.
Q18: Are we in for the Dutch tender?
Yes, we are aware of the tender and will be presenting our product and services in the appropriate way
10p first I guess! lol.. But a low ball offer will get the boot if it's derisory, which is good to hear.
