I don't see where this "massive urbanisation" is coming from. Mongolia is a large, poor, sparsely populated country (it's population density is 1/100 th that of the UK). Very few immigrants.

So - if GoM are questioning if they have enough oil to supply their own refinery why would they allow PM to export it in the run up to said refinery coming on line? Surely they would tell PM to hang fire until they can take its production. Or maybe just nationalise PM.

Maybe we should ask the sellers WHY? Oh! wait, there are none on this board!

If that's directed at me I can assure that I don't get emotional over any of my bets either severely or repeatedly. As previously stated MATD is a very small part of my portfolio so it's no big deal which way it goes - just a side play.

I backed my horse in the National. I didn't expect it to win but I hoped it would and was prepared to risk a little to maybe gain a lot. MATD is a similar punt.

We have not been told DQE is actually on board have we. In fact there is little more known than when the placing was made last year at 3.5p so maybe that's the current value.

Something that worries me is that MB is more of an explorer than a producer & may not have the right skills going forward. It was significant in his talk that the board were pushing him to start production this year when (surely) it's the CEOs job to do the pushing.
I just hope he doesn't put production on the back burner & go off chasing rainbows. Off course GoM may be quite happy to wait for production until their refinery is operational.

You can make lots of things look good by selectively choosing your statistics - MATD has been as high as 8 & as low as 2, so current 4 is 20% below the median!
