Just invested a second tranche of £3500 here after investing the same amount yesterday. Excellent prospects.

Good morning, as a long-term and committed investor in both CTP and MXCP I have been watching CSI for a while and doing some basic research. The parallels with CTP are sufficiently strong and persuasive for me to have made my first investment of c£3500 this morning. I am happy to wait to see how the company's investment strategy plays out.

Andy Todd will bring fantastic experience to MXCP, particularly from his time as CEO of Northgate which will also be valuable for their interest in CTP which is quietly moving into the space which used to be the prerogative of major supply companies like Capita and Northgate. More excellent news, things are moving quickly.

I bought in here for the first time today and will look to add more. I already am heavily invested in MXCP and CTP and am betting on PINN being transformed by MXCP's management advice, support and investment.

I got 50.88% of what I ordered through Hargreaves Lansdown so I imagine from what you say that it is the same for everyone. Still, a good profit already, not that I have any intention of selling any time soon!

Yes, I was told yesterday by Hargreaves Lansdown that I was getting the shares I requested but I have just had an official email from HG which states that 'all elections have been scaled back and shareholders will receive 50.88% of their allocation'. Although slightly disappointed I am actually pleased I got over half which in my case is about 203000 shares which, at a purchase price of 2.5, can't be bad. The email says the shares will be in my account on Monday 8 June. I interpret the quote as being standard across all brokers but I do not know that for certain. No doubt investors using other brokers will also post when they hear.

Sorry, non-institutional, not non-instructional!

I have just added up all the larger sales ie 100,000 plus since 2.15pm and, surprise, surprise, they total 119,600,000 give or take a few which seems to me to confirm that they are the 'sells' or transfers from Zeus Capital to various brokers of the 120,000,000 shares eventually allocated to the non-instructional shareholders under the recent placing. They are all shown as having been transacted at 2.50 which was of course the placing price. If there are other views I would be interested to read them.

I assume all the millions of 'sells' going through at 2.50 are actually the 2.50 placing buys which I mentioned in my last post.

I have just spoken with Zeus Capital, who confirmed that they had emailed all the relevant brokers this morning with details of the shares allocated through the placing to non-institutional investors, and then to Hargreaves Lansdown, whom I use as a broker and through whom I had bid for shares. I am pleased, and slightly surprised, that they confirmed that the increase from 40,000,000 to 120,000,000 shares allocated, which was announced in this morning's RNS, has meant that I have been allocated the full 400,000 I requested. They are processing the transfer at the moment and the shares will appear in my ISAs next Monday, 8 June. Others might wish to check with their own brokers to see if they have also been allocated shares but my conversation with HL suggested that they probably have, whether in full or in part. For my part I am very pleased with the 2.5 price for the shares and wish all holders who bid for shares similarly positive responses.

I have just spoken with Hargreaves Lansdown and been told they have no indication of a timescale for news about the allocation or otherwise of extra shares from the placement. I will post as soon as I hear more, meanwhile it is good to see the price moving back up again. There is a certain inevitability to its rise and it is wonderful to be invested in a company whose share price can slip from time to time without causing any concern given the clearly-understood reason for the temporary buying opportunity which seems to have led to lots of purchases this morning.

Now that the number of shares allocated to PIs has been increased to 120,000,000 will we get what we requested? The pre- opening bid has been dropped to 2.50 but will it open there? The company now has c£30,000,000 to invest which is obviously good even if there has been a slight dilution with this morning's RNS. Interesting times and I am glad to be part of the story, hopefully with more shares than before. Please post if you have applied as soon as you find out if you have been successful or not, different brokers might inform clients at different times today or in the next few days.

Is anyone clear as to when those of us who requested some of the 40,000,000 shares set aside for PIs are likely to hear? My reading is that it could be tomorrow but might not be for up to two weeks but that seems strange as I assume they are heavily oversubscribed which should therefore mean they will all be allocated tomorrow and we will know if we have got all, some or none of what we bid for.

The acquisitions of Brixx and Impact announced today by CTP are further proof of the potential of MXCP to grow its own business substantially by its investment in focussed, dynamic companies expanding in niche markets. CTP is making significant inroads in the social housing sector, providing an increasingly integrated range of services to tenants which cut costs and increase service quality. The MXCP and CTP teams are of course well known to each other and in some cases are associated with both, they clearly know exactly what they are doing, hence Ian Smith's quote this morning that he is extremely confident that the acquisitions will bring increasing value to shareholders, which will also be positive news for MXCP investors

I have just reread the placing RNS to remind myself of the timings - I read it that PIs who have applied for shares at 2.5 will not necessarily hear whether we have been successful until 16 June or have I misunderstood? The RNS talks about a two week period during which allocations can be made. Of much greater long-term interest is the language used to describe the reason for the fund-raising. The company needs the funds 'to pursue a number of near-term identified opportunities', later described as a 'significant pipeline' and also plans to 'further develop a growing pipeline of future opportunities' and to 'exercise opportunistic transactions like Calyx'. I am really looking forward to the rest of the year and in particular to some early announcements of acquisitions which will be made once the new funds become available.

Never know if it means anything but interesting timing?

An excellent, positive day for MXCP in anticipation of the placing and hopefully imminent news of progress on different fronts. I just hope I get some of the 2.50 placement shares I requested, perhaps even all of them!

I am slightly surprised, and personally very pleased, that the price has held up very well so far considering the 2.5 placing next Monday. I am in for 400000 shares although I suspect I might end up with fewer or none if the offer is as heavily oversubscribed as I expect it to be which usually means PIs losing out. However, at least the stability reinforces the underlying strength of the company and that is in itself great to see. Any alternative views on the current situation?

Why the large spread today? I imagine the price is drifting closer to the 2.50 placing price but there may be another reason. Lots of selling in anticipation of buying back in at what might be a price below 3.00? Irrelevant in the longer term but perhaps an explanation of the pattern.
