Good morning (or perhaps afternoon!) I hope you are right and would also be interested to know what your other investment is for 2016 just out of interest as will research it over the holidays. Happy Christmas to all PIs, hope 2016 is good to you all.

Well spotted, Shares123, you were spot on about a suspension on 24 December and we are in advanced talks about a reverse takeover just as was suggested. Hopefully news in January which I hope will be a great start to the year, if it does not proceed cash will be returned.

Anyone suggest what this phrase might mean in the email response quoted by Shares123? Is that a get out for the company which would allow them to continue without the shares being suspended? What about the alternative of a return of cash to shareholders which I seem to remember reading was an alternative if a suitable investment was not identified? Recent positions taken by IIs etc is enough for me to stay invested and not to sell just in case.

I am increasingly confident something is happening and am hopeful we will wake up to an RNS soon, perhaps even this week. Happy to be told they have not yet found what they want, would rather wait, as others have said, for the right acquisition rather than the first one.

Discovered this after a mention by Chrishutch on the CTP board today and, having read as much as I could, including Midas, I bought in for the first time today and see this as one to hold for a couple of years as it develops what seems like an excellent model which should be one element of the renewed drive to build affordable housing.

I agree that this week might just be more interesting than most weeks leading up to the Christmas break. We should hear something but then again we might have to wait until next year which is fine with me - I would rather wait until the company identifies the best target and if that takes a while then that will be in our interests as PIs just as much as it will for the directors and major shareholders. All I would hope is that we hear something as otherwise we will see the inevitable trolls warning us that the company is going nowhere.

Thank you for this morning's posts and suggested investments for CSI. Each sounds possible and promising but I am afraid that I cannot add any intelligent comments. However, I am sitting in a cafe in Castle Street in Edinburgh, hence the name of the company given that Bill Dobbie is from Edinburgh and in another world I know him quite well but not through business or investing! I have over £20K invested here and have been patient for almost a year, enjoying the run up to 40p and patiently accepting the drift back. I am very positive and confident and it would be great to hear something before the end of the year.

Very quiet but some progress this week which is promising. We were 'promised' an RNS announcing an acquisition or cash back, or both, before the end of the year. I wonder if it is too late for that or if we can still expect to hear before the New Year?

KUMS, can you explain these or suggest why there are two 'pairs' of huge buys within a few minutes? Can you be certain they are buys? I think they are looking at the price movement during the day but I do not have L2 so I am not sure.

Just bought another two tranches for just less than £10K as could not buy that many in one transaction. Looking forward to imminent news. GLA!

An excellent RNS reminding us of the outstanding progress made by the company this year. The Board are clearly very focused and confident and the outlook for increasing profits and further investments is excellent. MXCP and CTP are great companies in which to be invested.

KUMS, I agree, I agree, I agree, I agree, I agree, I agree, I agree that we are close to news and have also noticed the gradual rise and the large buys over the past couple of weeks, at least one that I remember of 6,000,000+.

An interesting and positive development - a brief look through Meriel Lenfestey's cv suggests she us someone with the experience and skills to boost the MXCP board. Her appointment is a further indication of the ambition of the company who have done well to attract her. She clearly sees the same promising future as we do. Excellent.

I am very optimistic that the next few weeks might be very interesting for CSI and am hopeful we will retest 40p soon and then go significantly higher once news of contract wins is released. I have been a patient investor in CTP since the early days and have a bigger investment now in CSI which I am hoping will be the next CTP and perhaps an even better investment given that there are so few shares in circulation.

Agreed, Worraps, MXCP seems to be stirring and the next few weeks will be very interesting for both MXCP and CTP, as well as possibly CSI which is also showing positive signs.

Very happy to wait patiently to hear what the management have been doing during the past few months as they consider how to grow the company, almost certainly through debt-free acquisitions. They have experience, they have expertise and they have over £20 million cash available. What's not to like? I was lucky to be in CTP from the early days and remain a serious holder although I have transferred more than have my profits into CSI in recent months. CSI feels very similar to the early days of CTP except that is much more cash-rich and the number of available shares is comparatively minimal. As I say, I am happy to wait.....and wait until the day the RNS is posted which will change the. company forever.

Decided to buy another 17175 shares just now by selling down some of my MXCP stake, convinced by the slow but steady increase during the past week or so that we are very close to a retest of 42p and, if we get news, then 42p will be a real bargain. Never ventured....!

I absolutely agree, AIM-Analyst, and am very happy to wait for as long as it takes. I have spent a few months building up a stake by various means, including selling off some losers and taking other profits. I now have almost 85000 shares which for me is a lot to invest in one AIM company. However, it seems to me to be a safer bet than many FTSE 250 companies, and certainly very much safer than all the oilies so beloved by so many. I see CSI as the next CTP in terms of potential and I remain a reasonable shareholding there and in MXCP as well and continue to think they will also continue to reward patient investors. Like many others I check each morning for the CSI RNS which we are all expecting but believe that in any case we will get back to 40p+ even without news.
