Welcome to the board, TrenderAIM, I am sure you are right to be confident about both the short-term trend for the share price and the longer-term potential of a company in the right place at the right time led by a team who have done it all before in the pre-digital age. Not surprisingly they have been quick to spot the opportunity to become a significant player in the world of digital marketing which appears to be growing exponentially. They must have fantastic contacts and easy access to the big players which is a huge advantage and the fact that Peter Scott has invested £500000 of his own money says it all for me.

Fair point, I did try to point out that I am simply interested in hearing about other shares to research (that is how I first discovered CTP!) and have no intention of discussing any other shares here. I hesitated before posting as I did not want to upset anyone but in the end decided to go ahead! I am sorry if you misinterpreted what I was trying to do and will in future stick to BHRD matters only.

Boom, I think the common link among the regulars from the CTP/PINN/CSI/MXCP boards is that most of us, as far as I can judge, are fairly experienced and have learned by trial and error to research, to share information, to avoid obvious pump and dump shares and, certainly in my case, to stay away from oilies and other commodity companies, especially those on AIM! I have been introduced to some great, profitable companies who are professional and always well-managed and I am very grateful to fellow investors who share their ideas and who I know are not remotely interested in ramping. I have shared my interest in RENE before now and continue to believe it has fantastic potential for patient investors and recently I have suggested that both SGM and PROX are worthy of research. Any New Year recommendations for research would be very welcome but as always the responsibility for deciding whether or not to invest is down to the individual. Here's to a rewarding 2016,

I wish I was completely unaffected by emotion! It has taken me all morning to decide to sell a couple of profitable companies, in the sense that they have been good to me and still have excellent prospects of further gains, in order to purchase another 120827 shares at 5.09 - showing as a sell. I thought I might be paying 5.50 so am even more pleased. Now holding c380000 which is plenty for me.

I agree, Stoker, I would much rather see us finish 5% to 10% up today on relatively low volumes than another big jump and retrace which attracts day traders and ends up with bitter comments from a few who jump on board without a clue about the company and then get upset when the gold at the end of their rainbow disappears. I happen to be in the same room as my wife and 20+ daughter who are watching a programme about 'what Britain bought in 2015', not a programme I would choose to watch but I was hooked on the section about marketing trends. The point which was made very strongly was that traditional marketing is virtually finished and the future is digital marketing, in fact the present seems to be digital marketing. The next big thing used to have to be seen on daytime chat shows, now that has no marketing effect whatever whereas one or two digital adverts aimed at the correct target market and using the appropriate social media channel can turn a fairly ordinary product into a global phenomenon - Nutribullets and a Geordie Shore fitness video(?) were highlighted as excellent examples of how this works. Forget the detail of this post but what it has done for me is reinforce at a very fundamental level that BHRD, led by one of the most experienced and successful management teams it is possible to imagine, is in exactly the right place at the right time. The future is clearly digital even if people of my generation might find it difficult to accept. I am really pleased to have been introduced to BHRD by Stoker and am looking forward to the company growing in 2016 and of course to news of the next acquisition.

Hi, investorMAN, are you able to be more specific than perhaps US based and in the US? I have seen no hints anywhere but would love to hear any ideas or news.

Good to see quite a few regulars from the CTP/MXCP/PINN/CSI boards on here now, thanks certainly in my case to Stoker who first answered my question about his second favoured stock for 2016 to go with PINN. Thank you, Stoker, for suggesting researching BHRD and Peter Scott. I managed to buy plenty yesterday at between 3.36 and 3.40 and am looking forward to watching how things develop in 2016. I will look to buy more this morning unless the price jumps again early on in which case I will wait to see if there is a dip. Happy either way. In the spirit of cooperation I would be interested to know if anyone is researching either SGM or PROX, both of which came to my attention on another board recently and seem to have the potential to be excellent investments. I have bought into both and am considering topping up there as well. Any thoughts welcome.

At least two of the transactions showing as sells at 3.40 showing as sells are my buys at a cost of just under £2000 and of just under £6000.

Hi Jayfella, I have just come across Peter Scott's £500000 personal investment in Be Heard and am now almost certain to buy in tomorrow. I will need to sell something first but there are no obvious candidates at the moment so I will need to think carefully tonight, forget about emotional attachment and come to a decision before tomorrow!

I am here after Stoker kindly mentioned BHRD on the PINN board. My first quick read through of the admission document has got me interested but not as much as the list of major investors, both IIs and HNW individuals, which is seriously impressive. I am now going to research Peter Scott's background and expect to be equally impressed judging by the comments on this board!

Thank you, Stoker, I will research this later and appreciate you taking the time to respond. As well as PINN I like SGM and have a lot in CSI which was suspended on Christmas Eve to allow final details of a reverse takeover to be agreed. Hopefully,it will add quite a bit of value. All the best for 2016.

Having now had a few minutes to think through this morning's RNS I am more confident than ever in the future of CSI and the company it is hoping to acquire. I note the reference to a new management team already in place and working on the acquisition, presumably including experienced professionals individually identified by Bill Dobbie and his team as the right fit for the new company. The suggestion is that the target company is larger than they had originally envisaged and will require new funding to allow it to maximise its potential. There is of course the possibility that the acquisition will not complete in which case the cash to be returned to shareholders is almost 31p which from memory is 2p more than was the case a few months ago. However, I do not expect from the tone of th RNS that we will be receiving cash and am looking forward instead to finding out what we have acquired, hopefully in the next few weeks. I have no idea what the value of the shares is likely to be when the suspension is lifted but I would assume they will be at a significant premium to the current price. Any views?

Great to see familiar names on various boards, MXCP has been so quiet recently but to me it remains an excellent investment in a top management team who will make the right moves at the right time. Have a lovely Christmas, one and all!
