At first reading Cameleon seems like an excellent fit for BHRD, profitable and established with excellent clients. Seems to fit Peter Scott's vision very well and to be a positive step towards realising his vision. Slow but measurable progress, interesting to see if the acquisition attracts new investors.

Excellent to read today's two positive RNS announcements, the company continues to exude quiet confidence and it will be interesting to,listen to the presentation at the analysts' meeting this morning.

As well as the Danny Fortson 'One for the brave' article in the Sunday Times, which might well lead to further interest in RENE from PIs, there is also an excellent article in the same paper written by Neil Woodford under his own byline extolling the virtue of his patient investing model which almost cost him his job when he did not chase the dot com bubble but which instead strengthened his reputation for investing long-term in small companies which in his view have the potential to make a real, substantive difference, particularly early stage pharmas spun out of what he says are some of the world's great universities'. He looks for 'long-term, compelling investment opportunities' and I for one am heartened by his commitment to RENE. The article is very wide-ranging and, although no individual companies are named and he acknowledges that not every innovative company will succeed, the tone and reasoning are compelling.

I have watched once again Michael Hunt's presentation at the Shares Magazine evening on 27 October and was particularly struck by his comments on Page/Slide 14 in respect of the preliminary results of the Phase 2 trial on stroke patients which are being reported tomorrow. He emphasised very directly that unless the patients showed, paraphrasing very slightly, a very clear ability to move their body, especially their upper limb and to perform a very clear task with a very clear outcome, there would be little point in moving on to Phase 2/3 trials. In other words, clear signs of efficacy are vital which is of course obvious. What struck me were his subsequent comments that Reneuron would be moving on to Phase 2/3 trials in 2017 and, although he did emphasise that it was 'important to show clear efficacy' in order to do, it seemed at least to me that he already knew when he was speaking that efficacy was being demonstrated, hence his confident comments about the next stage. I do not think I over analysed the comments in order to confirm my own optimism but I would welcome other views.

I have just spent another £4365 topping up my core holding and hope my confidence will be rewarded on Monday!

Excellent results this morning - completions up, profits up, dividend up.

It is good to note various directors' and spouses' share holdings being notified, I sense quiet progress being made and am happy to hold and wait for the company to develop and win increasingly more significant contracts.

An excellent statement of intent and expression of confidence by BHRD executives and Henderson investment house. Very happy to hold and wait.

Interesting to see someone paying £66K for 2,000,000 shares this morning.

I have no idea but am happy to sit and wait. Big buys, certainly, which I hope signify something!

Excellent buy, and at full price which is perhaps telling. uplift soon now that we are over the placing and some of us have increased our holdings by taking advantage of the drop?

I also waited for the placing price and bought c£7000 more just now. Seems like an excellent acquisition with more to come as BHRD continues to expand into the mid-space as outlined by Peter Scott and his team. Very happy with developments.

Miton, is there somewhere I should / could have seen this news?

Yes, what was surprising to me was the fact that each transaction was only for a relatively small amount which I assume would have incurred unnecessary dealing charges. I am used to a few large transactions of the same amount in the shares of various companies as IIs or HNW individuals buy in but I have no idea why yesterday's purchases were not wrapped up in a couple of purchases of 100000 shares.

Can anyone explain any there have been so many sales of 20,000 shares this morning? Not concerned, just interested.

Kestrel remain very strong supporters of both CSI/COR and CTP, now over 16% here on behalf of their clients. Promising news, happy to wait for update on progress and confident we will be impressed. Slow progress is fine for me, better to spend time deciding on the best acquisitions and plotting the best route to significant expansion.

Absolutely agree, Miton, Peter Scott would not have set up a new company after his stellar career if he was not very committed to it and confident that there is a niche to be exploited. Nigel Wray's involvement is another posititive indicator and I am looking forward to staying with the company for as long as they remain involved. Looking forward to the relisting, hopefully we will hear something soon.

Excellent news, just what we had been told - BHRD is going to fulfil its promises and the future looks really interesting.
