I guess we are going to find out soon whether Paul is the kind of person that DA envisages filling that role.
This must be a key post, and it is right David considers for himself who can do the best job.
We haven't heard much from Paul in his tenure, he did not feature in the Novacyt video to support virtual attendance at ASHG21 recently, and you might expect someone in his position to do so.

I just wish David well in reviewing all these appointments, as it isn't just about can the guy do the job well, but also about can the CEO get the best out of each executive management team member.

As DA used to occupy the position of Chief Business Officer at Amryt Pharma, I'm wondering if David wants to tweek the management structure a little at Novacyt.
LinkedIn has David's responsibilities @ Amryt thus:
"Leading on Corporate strategy development, business development, global marketing, global market access & global business planning and analysis."

GM did Corporate Strategy and business development, not so much the rest.
I presume David knows how well appointing somebody to the role of Business Officer would work at Novacyt.
I think we need our CEO to rustle up II interest, as a high priority, and that further refining future strategy will be necessary, to include more sales and marketing input to strategy.

In short one of the next appointments might be a Business Officer, such that David can provide a set of Key Result Area tasks and resume doing what a new CEO needs to do at Novacyt, - like getting directors to interact better, if the AGM body language is anything to go by.

French law concerning companies repurchasing shares has been updated since 2006.
It would be reasonable to get the latest on the subject, before relying too much on the parts you found of interest in the above document.

The latest I have on French law (as it differs from European law), is found below:

I would recommend reading the whole document and keeping it to hand, as it may shed light on French law concerning matters we have recently dealt with, and may revisit again shortly. It will always be handy to have a quick reference document should we need to know French law in future.

The reason I discussed the hospital lab setting, is because I think would expect to see instruments employed in a near patient testing environment, being used by trained individuals who don't necessarily have a co prep sample automation cabinet available to them. ie the instrument operators are the ones doing the manual pipetting.

For example the versalab lab-in-a-case scenario.
The operator probably isn't going to have 1 case for the instrument, and another for a co-prep cabinet and fluids.
I may be wrong but doesn't seem very likely.

In terms of use with q16 / q32 instruments in a hospital lab:
Has co prep, - and the increased PCR results accuracy through elimination of manual pipetting, provided Novacyt with a USP - (Unique Selling Proposition).

Or have other instruments expected to be found in hospital labs also got automated pipetting facilities, and all we are doing is playing catch up?

GM actively looking to assist businesses less than a week after retiring.
So therefore GM must be thinking when the truth comes out about the dispute, his reputation will be upheld or even enhanced.

He obviously thinks he played the game with a strait bat, and DHSC are the villains, or he would not be promoting his experience and services in such a way.

GM had much M&A experience.

The next thing he was going to do in Jan/Feb/March/April 2021 was to M&A big time with the cash generated from DHSC part2, and blitz Novacyt to Mid-cap status.

RNS - Jan 5th 2021 - GM makes Anthony Dyer Chief Corporate Development Officer full time:
"His (Anthony's) new, important role reflects the Company's growth strategy, which includes selective potential M&A to supplement organic growth initiatives."

I think the fun stopped when the DHSC spiked his guns with the dispute, and he could say absolutely nothing about the cause.

* IF * the above is anything like true, we as shareholders have lost out big time on those plans (Mid-Cap status would have been easier to achieve with only 70.6 Mil shares).

Not totally on the same page as those who think he was pushed.

Can't help thinking that those responsible for manipulating the sp for many months have stopped there shenanigans and are the ones who collectively bought today, and are expecting sp to be catapulted back toward fair value.
