Job Summary
The Sales Manager role will be responsible for achieving a specific revenue target within a defined region, targets may change depending on success and growth in the region. They will manage all client types i.e. direct sales, distribution partners and OEM partners where applicable.
A key requirement of the role will be to analyze client needs within the region, develop a robust sales strategy to implement and achieve the highest amount of revenue for the business and the on-going adoption and expansion of our product pipeline. You will proactively spend time in the allocated region winning new business and maintaining existing client/distributor/partner base businesses; urgency and effective execution are essential as the role is working in a fast-paced environment.
Novacyt requires a strategic thinker with a passion for new business development, engaging with influential clinical and service-orientated stakeholders. This will involve operating within complex accounts and developing relationships at multiple levels of authority.
Key objectives will include developing strategy for your designated clients/distributors/partners (where applicable), new market access channels, customer relationship management, accurate forecasting, and dynamic regional planning. Pre-existing relationships within the industry, experience of sales strategy, framework agreements, procurement process and knowledge of competitor solutions are essential to be successful in this environment.
