11:40 - I think if the management are guilty of anything it is letting their confidence in their own bid override the reality of what the Chilean government were requiring, they were looking for A) a company with a track record of fast deployment (delivery in FY26 of a project and thereby tax revenue) B) someone who clearly had access to capital already in place.

CTL put a lot of their eggs in the indigienous buy in element as being the clincher and I believe as we can see from the successful applicants the government is happy for this to come later in the project cycle. So while a painful lesson I still think CTL will have a strong case for acceptance into the CEOL landscape for Chile just we can expect it (if the appeal does not suceed) to come towards the end of FY25...

10:15 - we have I believe 100% of the mining rights for the area we need the CEOL for so those are the rights I believe someone else would need to acquire or negotiate a buy in arrangement

09:44 - I believe their exisiting contracts still stand until they expire or are renewed which cover production in existing blocks, however Central Block is not covered by these so there is a lot of potential upside there to pricing, we just need this deal done now, sure the present governmental changes are hindering things no doubt but that should be drawing to a close by the end of April...

Yes we are not on the Fast Track but there is a 5 day appeal process which CTL is entering as they believe they had all the criteria in place for fast track approach. However potentially with production not coming til 2028 I am not sure this is anything other than a blip…

15:55 - maybe I am misremembering but I think someone worked out the CB was currently delivering about $1.5M per month, as all production will come off the buying price any delays just reduce the outlay for the purchase of the Central Block, if anyone has any better numbers please feel free to share :-)

16:11 - 38M is nothing, who cares about it, clearly it is big amount in your mind but with the business the company has it is not significant, do you really think a bank would lend that kind of money if they were not sure they were going to get their money back, a little naive FUD for today eh :-)
