I have just had a quick look at the procedure and it appears that there is no court hearing just a rubber stamp after 5 days of the original filing,so the company dont get the chance to put their case forward is this correct.

Problem is that when the share price falls like this when tte FTSE is only down about 60 ptss then the sgare price is only about 20p higher than when the FTSE was just under 5000,so if it goes to this level again the share price will probably be nearer 120 and if the dividend is cut it might be £1

Like you said people dont save for a rainy day anymore it's just want and want and then blame somebody else when they haven't got anything
I can imagine a few cars going back when they cant afford the payments and everybody is maxed out on their credit cards

Yes that's the trouble when you have so much invested in one share
I suppose it all depends how old you are as to how much you get back
I was with BG for 40 yrs until Christmas but they are so expensive I changed and saved over £200 a year

I think that Kaz and some miners will be the first to be hit on the next wave down
After that big rise over a few days from 260 to 390 a 50% rise not seen by any other company as far as I know
The likes of solid companies with good dividends like L and G and Aviva etc are performing worse than Kaz all because of that meteoric rise
