Adrian Hargrave, CEO of SEEEN, explains how the new funds will accelerate customer growth Watch the video here.
Yes Steve. I can see why going to bed thinking you’re a patriotic hero, only to find out you’ve betrayed your country for absolute nonsense could be difficult.
Are we missing any big BT developments just before Christmas, that Stevo must be keeping to himself?
Always so angry these people. .
NDN - yes, called Carnets
The ATA Carnet is an international customs document which allows an individual traveler / business to temporarily export or import goods for commercial purposes to and from a country without having to pay duty or value-added taxes on the goods
NDN - I think some of the lorry park size is Macron asking Bozo about his gun ships plans, as much as anything. Lower level disruption is the nee normal im afraid.
I only found out about other red tape yesterday, I need to go research it, but apparently we need to pay to avoid illegal trade, so for example if a musician goes into the Eu, how do they know the instruments are for music, or illegal trade? Never occurred to me but I think someone said £800 a pop. (But don’t quote me)
I understand current staff feel like they are being forced out, to make way for cheaper workforce without fair recognition

Fleecy we were not discussing anything, you’ve just been arguing leave rhetoric & misinformation, against reality
The reality is every trade deal ever written involves cooperation, negotiation and rules (you want to call sovereignty, because it makes your nationalist bone quiver). This agreement involves rules and punishment for non compliance of these rules
The only exception any where in the world (far as I know) is with the EU, where they provide tariff free, easy access to 30 of the poorest economies, so they can access the largest trading area, improve their circumstances through trade.
& there you were thinking the EU was an evil empire, protection racquet only for establishment & wibble fish & something bout pretend sovereignty.
Fleccy - there you. Suddenly all gone trump. You accuse me of not being able to argue for the truth & back up my opinions based on actual fact.
You get the truth, choke on it & then dishonestly dismiss it.
I think that pretty much covers your character doesn’t it? No wonder you were so easily fooled by charlatans. Turns out Toff (in this case) 100% right. Shameful.
Fleecy - it’s almost like you’re not equipped to have such a pungent Brexit opinion...
Here you go “ The logic of formal trade agreements is that they outline what is agreed upon and the punishments for deviation from the rules set in the agreement.[1] Trade agreements therefore make misunderstandings less likely, and create confidence on both sides that cheating will be punished”.
Source better than the daily express
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trade_agreement
Fleccy - are you seriously asking me to prove breaking trade agreements doesn’t result in a change in trade previously agree trade arrangements? Be that tariffs or bans
It’s almost like you don’t understand trade or that’s whilst educating yourself with tv, you have conveniently not seen any trade disputes.
By ratchet you mean the EU will apply specific and limited trade barriers to the specific area of trade affected by the UK’s trade breach, rather than everything
Obviously you’ve worked out the U.K. will be doing exactly the same for goods in the opposite direction & if the Eu or any other trading partner does not comply, the U.K. will apply trading barriers
Please tell me you’ve worked that out & it’s not all one way, as the express would have you believe
I’m not skirting the point at all. Your dishonesty is preventing you from understanding every trade deal requires cooperation, you want to call it sovereignty to muddy the water.
When two sides agree the terms of their cooperation, not honouring that agreement will have consequences
In terms of trade with the EU, that’s controlled by highly respected and fair courts & the consequence is a change in trading relationship
Go ask China if they thought Trumps tariffs were lightening and fair ?
Fleccy - it’s not just French fishermen. Maybe they think buying quotas in good faith is ownership... when I buy something you sell to me, I think I own the right, unless you a compensate me of b acknowledge that, I would want it agreed.
& Fleccy .... you do realise the WTO now accepts it needs a better dispute resolution arrangement a bit like the ECJ. & guess what, unlike the EU, the U.K. has very little representation for these..... shall we call them rules ?
Fleccy - ratchet clause - what proof do you need? If you enter into an agreement over trade (willingly) and you Brest those rules or are perceived to break those rules, the other side will increase tariff or stop / prevent trade. Go google. “Trade war” You will find recent examples with America, Russia, China, Australia & UAE
Ratchet clause - another lie. The EU has not insisted the U.K. follow EU choices to improve employment laws etc.
The Eu is free to exceed these (as a member can) or choose to have their trading relationship adjusted. Just as Canada would. Exactly the same as any trading arrangement....
Obviously it would be super dishonest to then not include these realities in your argument. Same as you need to include the state aid rules the U.K. has willingly signed with japan, without batting an eyelid & that breaking those agreements with japan, would result in ..... how would you phrase it? ..... punishment? Whereas the rest of us all it a breach of agreement
Fleccy - I’ve not got time, but let’s start with 1
Yes it is dishonest to say that. Galileo is for Eu member states. It relies on all kinds of agreements, for instance data sharing and security. Part of a raft of cooperation, the U.K. screams false “sovereignty “ claims against.
Rather than negotiate a path to cooperation, the U.K. went away in a hissy fit, bought the wrong satellites & threatened to develop a spoiler product.
Surely I do t need to explain why leaving the EU, no longer being a member, then threatening to sabotage Galileo is different to your description
Fleecy we won’t agree, because you’re utterly dishonest on the subject.
NDN - we’ve already left.....
& by the way both, the only reason these negotiations are on going is because the U.K. had chosen to keep looking for a dishonest deal. The U.K. has been free to leave for 3 years.... yep 2 years, the EU has not hold over the U.K. at all, they can just go.
NDN - if you think daily express articles or any other negotiation leaks from better sources are facts, I’m not really sure what to say next?
I’ve just delivered actual facts, which could be used to form an opinion / judgement on which side of this negotiation is behaving badly.
It’s very hard to look at these “actual real life” examples & conclude the U.K. is being represented honestly.
Fleecy / Ger - you guys are a bit poisoned in my opinion.
Soon as you add honesty & accountability you fall apart like cheap suits
The only things we know for sure is British government (ashamed to call them that) signed a deal with the other EU members.
There’s only two options here, either
U.K. didn’t read it or understand it, yet you have faith in their ability to deliver anything
Or
U.K. signed it in bad faith, but you continue to think they are trust worthy
Only one side has threatened to break international law & it goes on and on
We also know things like the U.K. has signed a deal with japan which has tighter state aid rules than the EU asks for, but that’s a different, dishonest kind of sovereignty
It is literally ridiculous under these circumstances to allow yourself to drown in false patriotism, “the last hiding place for scoundrels”
Ger - if you have such a strong opinion, you need to know lots of stuff
Firstly, you know nothing about the negotiation & secondly are these fish foreign fishing boats have already bought in good faith? (Quota hopping)
