Hey faultsman - I thought is was answered. An economic down turn in the U.K. will affect BT income. Business investment lower or business leaving the U.K. same thing. I think the current known affects are 1) reduced investment whilst companies wait 2) value of pound, increasing BT’s dollar and euro costs.

Bobsbank, that’s funniest thing I’ve read you say “ vote was decisive 48 to 52. ( just a quick clue that’s not decisive). Normally a nation would look for a minimum 60-40 to make a constitutional change. As for sovereignty and all the other nonsense, this is why so many people feel betrayed, it’s nonsense, even the governments white paper on Brexit confirms U.K. never lost soveignty during its membership & finally the EU doesn’t write our laws. The U.K. chooses to accept some law making, written in cooperation across a very narrow criteria. & before there’s any more leave nonsense Juncker is an employee, he has no vote, a civil servant.

Fleccy interesting you choose that vehicle but it’s a good example. Now made inside EU (can you work out why?). WTO tariffs up to 30% for cars made in India imported to EU 6.5%. You might want to think about the complex standards and regulation involved with importing goods & those in the main are with the EU, where the U.K. has agreed to have this all managed centrally, saving the U.K. time and money (that’s covered by the 0.6% GDP) contribution, that’s like buying a cup of coffee before work every day, it’s fabulous value for money. I have to add you were worried this board would become full of Brexit nonsense then you use the “project fear” bomb in. Is this where the leave campaign convinced half the nation to fear immigration “cos they take” our homes, school places, nhs , jobs etc etc that 60 million Turks were coming, EU army dab so on, then convince you the fear stories come from remain ? And then used it to block democratic debate with audiences screaming this nonsense Like taking back control when we already had control and borders when we already have borders ? Bearing in mind non EU immigration is higher ? Honestly.... not forgetting the “we don’t listen to experts any more”. I mean really?.....
