Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Well EricDraven, we are miles apart.. No matter, the BB at good use.. I rate KB very highly, and well worth 3k a week, because a bent ministry is an formidable opponent, and it could have got well out of shape, and been even more costly with the wrong moves made.. Ten years of application process? We should have been mining five years ago! The BEM team were not at fault! atb….
Afternoon.. No deal is better than a bad deal? KB is prepared to raise funds to cover the working capital for a good few months.. When the group CEO is prepared to keep open all options, and those interested in Kallak’s future know it, that CEO has some leverage, and without any leverage negotiations are far more difficult for the BEM team re any deal type.. The best output data for green steel (Green transition) in 2026? Then, LKAB’s grades of iron ore do not compare to N Kallak.. Imo, Kallak is very hot, and politics can be a necessary evil.. imo.. atb…
Evening.. So then, how does Reindeer get to graze when being transported in the rear of any truck? I thought walking a little further in lush grass was the whole point to grazing .. This trucking malarkey, an erosion of Saami culture perhaps? A red line? And further, some risk that more Reindeer could be seeking out lands within WHS Laponia? Any negative aspect with any of that, could be considered as what, and to whom, exactly? And worse, “ We will use as little land as possible”? The objectors would almost certainly argue that very low annual production level/ Tonnage is indeed commercially viable for the mining company, and much less intrusive to all other - $$$???.. My feeling is, if KB is on board with this shxtx, then some news of good value is on its way! And if not. Swedish mining exploration is toast, as even the hard of thinking can see who is xxxxxxx who in Swedish mining.. Imo.. atb………….
Afternoon.. This initiative is typical of KB/BEM’s approach throughout the Kallak exploration/application process.. None no more important than at this juncture – we need to win at the politics, going into the EP application process.. We need to engage with all who will be positively affected by a mine at Kallak, and not just any one particular group of peoples, with respect.. The conditions attached to the concession award were described by the then Minister as being, ‘far – reaching’ – the Environmental court gets to decide what, if any impact, the infrastructure would have on the reindeer industry and WHS Laponia.. Not only, in respect of land restoration/other, “The requirements for the company must be met in a dialogue between the company and the Sami village.. That they are met must be followed up by local authorities”, according to the then Minister Thorwaldsston.. Should the Sami for example, not be willing to positively engage, that could result in some loss of benefits to some/all other imo, then BEM would need to illustrate that to all others including the Land and Environmental court.. Kallak will go ahead, but just as importantly, it must be allowed to exploit its many benefits to all, including shareholders, may I add.. All imo..atb…………
Evening.. Xophe13, yes, we would be dummies to sell at this SP, given any choice.. Super high – grade ore, with very low impurities, with a market bounty of $25 - $40+ P/T.. Clean/High – grade ore can be mined at a cost of $15 - $20 P/T.. Demand for clean ore is to become greater, as additional duties in some form are to be introduced across the globe for mining low – grade/fossil fuel use etc.. Point being, if KB and team are not in any serious hard – talk re Kallak’s future at this very time, then why not? We all know that there are No prizes for any runner – up(s) in this game.. Yes, Environmental permits are yet to be applied for, and granted, however, this is to go ahead, the arguments for clean/high – grade ore in this age, and with the EU market with its increasing demand, are just too strong! The known numbers re Kallak are excellent, and therefore should, and must imo, be reflected in any deal type, whenever it presents itself. IMO. atb….
Evening.. Boris Churchill did a runner i see! Job, jobbed.. An 80+ seat majority, and then s+++ all over the people of Northern Ireland.. no need for that, he had the leverage.. The Bullingdon Boy is a sell - out merchant – One of Klaus Schwab’s posse! The deluded wanted him back! So, we have a King who we hope now, understands that a constitutional monarch is to be, and not to do, an Archbishop who mouth’s off about the Climate emergency, and says nothing about the persecution of Christians in his flock, and an opposition leader who says nothing about open borders, in the hope that an invasion will somehow lower taxes and drive wages up for Labour voters, and this same stooge claims not to know what a woman is.. Is it any wonder they drop to their knees for an Marxist organisation who dishonours the war - dead at the Cenotaph.. What a shower!! Nevermind, we have 70% iron and Winston Budge, is in our corner.. The clock, is ticking (loan)..
Suzy2, to your Liz Truss comment.. I have seen her out and about on only say, 2/3 occasions in the past five years or so.. To clarify re my past comment, we did have polite exchanges, but we were not in agreement (re PM May), and I have not voted in any GE since the early 90’s.. Although we didn’t agree (not surprising, given I was scathing of the then PM), I was convinced that she was someone who did actually care a great deal.. So I do have respect for her.. If she had continued as PM, then given her stated approach (Fracking, lower taxes, Cabinet members etc), I would have perhaps given her my vote next time, but the party has been a nonsense for thirty+ years, and they have been rumbled at last, by many.. atb………
Evening.. And, Johnson is a full – on remainer! Things are going to plan – single market is the plan “Get Brexit done” lolol The Conservative party, and the Labour party are the “controlled” opposition… Since the signing of the Massstricht treaty, neither party has or can deliver a single policy in the interest of the British people, because Western policies are shaped by unelected Billionaires, UN, IMF, WHO, ETC for their own interest.. Open borders, Green BS etc, etc… Their Money is in ping pong - slave labour, and who will burn four Billion tonnes of coal this year…. “You will own nothing, and be happy”.. WE HAVE BEEN TOLD! Blair, it is reported has a £100 million property portfolio – Bojo, wasn’t ever going to rock that boat! Lolol…atb…………..
Morning.. Suzy2, so we differ do we! I can’t have that! I think I should bring you up to speed and inform that, my MP is your new Prime minister! Elizabeth and I have had polite exchanges on more than one occasion I’ll have you know now! Should I consider that a windfall tax on sales of horticultural produce might help during the cost of living crisis, then I might have to make that argument lolol.. Don’t tell Starmer, he’d run it past Blair..
Suzy, This process has been going for the thick - end of ten years and endless of total Bull.. Needless to say, the thrust of the objection is purely of an Environmental nature! This should have been with the Environmental court years ago, who have to consider everything and then deliver within some of the most strictest Laws in the developed world... Any “far – reaching” conditions should be for their considerations... The fact that delays result’s in the company being further diluted has been exploited by the powers for their ideal when unlocking $Billions... If the Dems were genuinely concerned about any erosion of culture, then they would have delivered the correct policies for all of the Swedish people, and would have remained in power! These people are full of it.. For the record, what Thor said on decision day was – “we have made 12 very strong demands on the company”… Demands? That’s why the SP is dire imo… I have read the following RNS’s, and they do not mislead..
I do not see JIMAB making any permit application to the E/C before any partner/sale., because this is all about money and little about reindeer. All in my opinion only.. atb…………
Evening.. imo some concern over the Sami appealing isn’t the reason for the big fall in SP following the award.. The concession application process was for near - on nine years and was comprehensive, to offer one description, and further, the MI would have perhaps sought legal direction from those within the court, as well from those charged to advise on the many legal considerations before making the recommendation.. For a decision nine years in its making, then to be overturned, would have huge implications for mining investment in Sweden.. A non starter imo.. One important factor is, the Environmental court has yet to consider and then decide what, if any, impact any mine at Kallak with its infrastructure etc could have on reindeer/herders and WHS Laponia.. Laponia? Moreover, the Ministry with its “far – reaching” conditions imposed gave the objectors a seat to negotiate and agree details with the applicant on all matters further down the process road.. Good idea? This process has been political, and we each will make of that what we will, and the court will be political to some measure because of both, the WHS and the fact Kallak’s ore is premier league and everyone has a friend! KB it does seem, is playing his cards close to his chest, he needs to be very canny and sure of direction when making his next move re Kallak if he hasn’t yet made it.. Minister Thor killed the SP with some attachments... All Imo only.. atb……
And Fracking Charles III are both with the party of Davos, which want to break the social contract between Western Governments and their peoples – post democratic age! The West is in crisis imo.. Push - back has started in the USA (MAGA).. It is claimed that the Sweden democrats will surprise some this weekend??? Suzy2, as your finger is on the pulse, is there any truth in, that Sweden Dems and the Social Dems having been in talks?
Evening Frackers.. atb…
Morning.. EricDraven, well, each to their own.. Imo, a 5p buy is very good in the risk/reward department.. Previous talk from some leaders re Mining companies paying additional taxes for mining lower grades of ore is gathering pace once more in the wider world.. Little or no interest in Kallak’s super high – grade future at this time? That would be a huge contradiction to the norm! Yes, let’s see if KB’s thinking was right to take only the six months.. Imo, he is not the only head who needs to deliver! Imo.. atb……….
Evening.. EricDraven, yes, I’m convinced that KB/US are in serious talks re Kallak’s future partner/sale, given KB’s comments in a number of RNS’s.. possibly already a handshake on the fundamentals... We can only guess as to who/what that might be, but any would want to close on any deal, given what Kallak has to offer on many fronts…Moreover, working towards a mine in 2026? In a world that’s getting more mad by the day, some things will never change – you will never have to push real quality! In my opinion… atb……
Afternoon.. Kurt Budge negotiated a loan for a six month period, which commenced only weeks after we were told that potential partners re Kallak were now “willing to substantively engage” with the company following the award of concession.. If KB negotiated a six-month loan, and not say a twelve month or even a longer deal, without then having sufficient information to believe that he could secure a financial plan/partner re Kallak’s future within the agreed loan period, then that would be an easily avoidable mistake on his part, as it would offer some leverage to any potential partner at any level of talks – A Howler!
Given all of the previous here for years, to then continue to remain positive without seeing any obligated commitment to Kallak by others, is a big ask for some investors at this time.. Imo, given what Kallak has to offer to both the private and public sector, then much should be happening behind closed doors, and that we are only being told what regulators and professional management has to allow, and nothing that they have not - Not to mention this BB that is not at ease and in view to all.. if Kallak isn’t hot, then why not – agreed caveats could take care of any catastrophe concerning permits/ all other? All imo… atb…….
Afternoon.. lbjj. So, Epsilon with Global ambitions didn’t want to exploit an “lightweight” partner (49%) for financial gain – they walked instead.. Without FA detail, you know it all.. you, total idiot!..stick around a little longer…
Morning.. LOL.. Yep, it was obvious to some that from Friday’s RNS These results were not now going to disappoint, otherwise it would have all been in one RNS a little later! More words of wisdom from Bolshie no doubt.. imo atb………….
Morning..
Very high – quality iron ore pellets get a hearing, as does LKAB/other players and 2026?

Evening.. EricDraven, indeed! Ore of kallak grade(s) can be mined at around $15 P/T, and commanding around $15/45 P/T bounty on the market.. What mining company wouldn’t want Kallak in their portfolio? Answers on a £5 note only . Lovely Krona AB would be acceptable ?? atb…….
