pocko, 58? really!… time i think pocko that you binned those posh skis, and got your r’s down the ‘pink’ slope a little more regular x.. put it down to case theory..
what more evidence do you want that the powers in sweden will always use whatever it takes to exclude some from mining their iron ore, having been in a process for near ten years with a winning ticket to mine the cleanest iron on the planet? do you need 20 years of process? 50 years maybe? reindeer herders, using helicopters bought and paid for by yours truly? the greens, with less than 3% public support? its been a **** show man, and you want more evidence? well, the kind of evidence you want, isn’t ever on offer!
i have said that we will learn of who will be involved in kallak’s future before the issuing of permits.. the concession, potentially, (details in permits) has too much truck for the wrong user.. i want to be wrong about that, but it’s the same old.. as ever, in my opinion only!
Morning.. Eric Draven, well, I didn’t expect that RNS. It didn’t tell anyone that KB was pushed, it told me, that he will make more $millions if he has honoured kallak’s super high - grade ore on pay day - Yes, I mean a handshake done on Kallak 1000000000000% - before the award, and we wouldn’t ever be told.. The high cost to Pi’s re the timing/price of the last funding would have given the board the ammo for KB to make way quietly, should they have wanted rid of him on the cheap, at the time he did go? 12, 250,000 options? Someone was really upset with KB lol.. As said before, imo we will learn of Kallak’s future ‘before’ the issuance of permits (concession part two) ? The application process was, and remains a BS bent play as soon as 70+% iron was recorded.. Sweden’s mineral application policy is rotten to its big - money core! Where/what KB goes/does next, will tell us much about him and the last few years, than this RNS has..
We have been told (RNS – June 28) now, that we will have to wait until the outcome of the review of our assets for a market update, and yet, we can be told at this time (even before the start of the 7th month?) that the permit(s) application is no longer expected to be filed this year? So then, it’s not wrong to suggest that BEM’s strategic review will also include a review of JIMAB’s heavy groundwork done (approach) for permit application? What’s going on? And I wonder how does US feel about this? However we chose to look at this, the ‘permit application’ comment represents some change, and the reason(s) for that change, regardless of what those reason(s) are, will be of much focus with the board at this time, because this application is necessary to move on, and all comments in the mentioned RNS would have the full backing from Ed Bowie at that time, and he does know full well that Kallak is BEM’s share price today, and he/we need it to rise pronto! My wild guess is, the first casualty of the change/review was, when the useless previous Chairman bit the dust.. All imo atb…………
Evening.. EricDraven, yes, I can clarify. My previous was a reply to Pocko’s question put to me re any genuine doubts or issue in respect of the investment of £3.25m in Vardar at 02:14 on 23 jul.. He was of course implying impropriety in his question. I perhaps should have replied saying : ‘ No, none! The risk to him and BEM would be far too high for any possible low personal reward.. KB is too smart for that..atb……….
Evening.. Pocko, its only natural to have at least some doubts re Vardar.. Re issue? If you are suggesting do I have any concerns that KB has not had the correct focus? – Then no!!! None. The Risk/reward is all wrong imo..atb….
Evening.. Pocko, evidence? You want evidence from a bent process? Well, I’m ya man lol..
I don’t have any evidence that if BEM had have taken legal action against the Government re the delays (to which you was an advocate) that the Government would have then immediately delivered a decision with wholly unjustified attachments, leaving BEM with no alternative but to apply for their removal, resulting in KB being laughed out of town.. I have no evidence of that whatsoever, but that is the most obvious course of action that Baylan would have taken if put in that position.. Putting egg on the Government’s face, however deserving, pays dividends elsewhere..
I have no evidence that the reasons given for not further drilling Kallak didn’t always seem plausible to me – and that perhaps KB didn’t want it to be fully measured. I have no evidence of that either, and that could be very wrong, but we each will look for reasoning - we are after all, speculators..
For some here to state publicly what their sell price(low) would be, or to suggest no one in their right mind would buy Vardar, and Kallak Sold for a pittance, when we have been told that the company is in discussions, should only expect news from the company when it is only legally obligated to do so.. All imo..atb…
Suzy2 - I do appreciate the comment.. When this is over, we all can have a beer and talk your favourite subject – I promise to listen, and listen and….. lol..atb……….
Morning.. Pocko, first your 03:08 posting, I’m very aware of the world in which I live, and aware also, of many reports detailing how exactly the CCP finance both Western institutions and individuals who are pushing for the unachievable net zero BS, that can and will, if allowed, destroy our culture.. However, BEM simply cannot afford to xxxx against the wind in this new Green world..
I chose to answer your two questions put, this way.. The then minister Thor on the day of the award said: - “The biggest challenge would be the Environment assessment – the court that rules on issues concerning land rights and the Environment, but was convinced that a mine would eventually be built”. The Ministry set parameters in which the court then has to figure how best to interpret the so – called twelve ‘demands’. These to ensure that little harm as possible to Reindeer herding.. How best? Biggest challenge? Taking how long?
I put it to you Pocko, that the court would imo, introduce politics into all of their considerations, because what I learned from watching this BS for years is, the powers, with help from their paramilitary wing, are never going to risk having some big international miner digging up Europe’s finest iron ore in the backyard of LKAB’s HQ.. Not a xxxxxxg chance!
So imo, we will see JIMAB obligated with some other, re N. Kallak’s future, before the issuance of any permits. There is no reason imo, why we cannot have a great deal, given Kallak(s) super high – grade low impurity iron ore, and the so – called green transition, which is an attempt to honour the Paris climate accord, to which Sweden is an signatory.. With Thor and now Budge both gone, this could happen in the coming weeks, imo.. For Kallak/JIMAB to do well now, is good politics, because it benefits all.. And btw, LKAB are going deeper, where the grades are good, but do not compare with Kallak.. We do know that the review is underway? We don’t know how long it will last for? Bless! atb…
Evening.. Mayflower, grafintec does look compelling. However, I do think that we will see some real movement with Kallak in the not too distant, because the timing couldn’t be better re deals for high grade/green transition/ green steel/HYBRIT/other? Most importantly, given the comments made by the new CEO,(significant optionality etc) we can be forgiven in thinking that JIMAB would opt/push for some JV /offtake (many variants), to secure a very good deal $$$, plus the fact that any Kallak negotiations could become very complicated in any attempt of a straight sale, when the Kallak(s) have not been fully measured to date.. And as for the delaying of the application for permits, although disappointing, perhaps no time would actually be lost in this whole process, if we were to hook up with those with the right name(s), in the short term.. … IMO atb…..

Morning. Suzy2, you still believing, on balance? Good! The So – called green transition will change much in mining, and explorers/developers with high – grade clean ore to offer, can make big.. The new CEO interestingly, spoke of end – users investing in the decarbonisation agenda and how this will increase with their drive. Good comments! All change for high – grade$$$$$. Point being, big mining companies with political and financial muscle, are no longer the only game in town, in regards of any deal type to push Kallak, with its super high - grade into production.. Securing ‘green’ ore, is not only a financial must for all of those involved in the whole process chain now, it’s also a huge marketing tool too.. Needless to say, those involved have loadsa money to invest! Fire sale? Nonsense! One further thought is, those end – users, with their market promotions, would not want to be associated with any legal claim re the violation of rights concerning any minority group of peoples at this time, imo.. atb….
Some more, worth reading – new game! imo..

Pocko, Headlights? Really? The award came less than two weeks following KB’s letter to the then minister, asking for a decision to be made – (“yes or no”).. now what do you make of that fact, may I ask? Perhaps he forgot that he sent the letter? Perhaps something else? atb………
Pocko, Face value? Of course, I do! You said something very different recently to the poster ADF, re the value of RNS’s if I remember correctly? No? Perhaps it wasn’t you.. Anyways, I know how to read an RNS properly, and I also know when an CEO is sailing a little too close to the wind as it were, in this respect.. KB was a straight – shooter, although canny and underestimated by many imo.. atb..
Morning.. EricDraven / Pocko, As you can see, the point I was making was, there is no secret about any discussions with anyone re Kallak.. Gentlemen, there will always be interest in Kallak’s super high - grade iron content. The market for clean high - grade ore, is going well North, regardless.. Lower – grades of ore, will become increasingly costly to process, we have been told.. We all, are disappointed to date with the Kallak lot..
One further thought on this is, if there has ever been any discussions re Kallak’s future, with a state miner or perhaps Green steel, for another ‘Swedish’ example - and we do not have any details whatsoever in this area, then we were never, ever going to learn of any such details only weeks and months following the award for the obvious reason, not when having been in an application process for near - on TEN years, we wasn’t.. Not a chance! Imo.. atb..
Evening.. Pocko, things happening in the background? Yes, of course! Very clean, super high – grade iron ore.. The market has been informed about discussions with stakeholders, including potential partners – no secret that.. its all out there! atb…..
Evening.. EricDraven/Suzy2, yes, that was my point, in Norfcuk shorthand.. The demands (conditions) are “unique and far reaching” not my words, but those of Thor, the then minister re the award.. would the objectors negotiate in good faith? If they did, it would represent a huge change in their approach re JIMAB since say 2014, from what I’ve seen.. The objectors will, in this process, negotiate what is in their interest, and that’s perfectly reasonable, however, the Government will make sure the same know what exactly is in their interest, when the Government wants jobs, revenues, rail, AND very clean, high – grade ore for their so – called Green transition, and anything else they want.. The Government still has control over Kallak’s future partner/buyer imo, through the objectors using the demands embodied into the process.. So, KB didn’t blow up re the demands, which leads me to think that there was a meeting of minds re Kallak’s future down the line, together then, with the arrival of US - one of their own, who might yet be waiting for top job for all we know..
Vardar drilling yet? Spin it out! BEM could ask KB to get a posse together, and make a bid. He likes Kosovo.. Lolol ffs.. atb..
Morning.. EricDraven, conditions imposed fair and manageable? Not imo, the applicant is too reliant upon the objectors negotiating in good faith? Not good that! Hence my previous comment re perhaps a handshake (quid pro quo?).
Suzy2, no it wouldn’t, the objectors would much prefer to partner the powers of state, than say billy bob, for a number of reasons.. In short, I think both the applicant, and the ministry both know now, who will NOT, be involved in Kallak’s future.. So we disagree on this - no problem.. atb…….
Afternoon.. EricDraven, as you are not sure why I feel this, I will try to help.. It takes the thick end of ten years now to get a decision from the powers re any award of concession, therefore, it is no small consideration – it’s a big hurdle.. On the day of the award the SP peaked, and then dropped off, and has fallen ever since, and now 15 or so months later, the SP is lower than the 5 year average leading up to the award? The award then, needless to say, has had a negative value to date? We have always known that there are further hurdles..
See below the obvious concerning questions for investors re any disagreements over “what needs to be done”, re the 12 long term and unique ‘demands’, throughout the process, and who would get to arbitrate? Courts or the elected minister? IMO..atb……….
