All these one post contributors... in many ways it is reassuring because had we had these recent slides these past 2 days without their presence I’d be more worried...

'Short and distort' traders clutter message boards, which makes it very difficult for an investor to verify the claims. "Get out before it all comes crashing down" and "Investors who wish to enter a class action lawsuit can contact …" are typical posts, as are their projections of $0 stock prices and 100% losses. Any individual or entity that attempts to contradict their claims becomes the target of their attacks. In other words, the market manipulator will do everything in his or her power to keep the truth from coming out, and keep the targeted stock's price heading down.

The only RNS I predict are ones relating to increasing and decreasing holdings. Actual news will be a while off.

No news imminent and therefore an information vacuum. Perfect storm.
Expect many more attacks, lack of large institutional investors and it’s easy to rock this SP up and down.
The SP will rise once the city are done with it but this could be some time.
It’ll one quiet afternoon, maybe in a months time, you’ll see all the shorts cover their position....
But until then, we are at their mercy.
As a side the BOD should be purchasing, esp as CF didn’t take up his offer. TS also, c’mon ffs, dig deep. We gotta fight for this fkn project!!! I ain’t giving it away!!!

If you do work for the company they need to bl oody improve their induction and training.
In the unlikely event that you were privilege to the RNS (executive director level only I suspect) I doubt you would be posting the news on a BB...

Is anyone aware of a public company raising funds via a bond for PI’s??
Although good to see positive sentiment and support from our share holders I’d have thought a cleaner and quicker way would be via a rights issue.
Our cash runs out in March 2020 by which time we will need at least a few hundred million to continue if this is the route. I’d have thought if CF needs to tap PI’s up for funds it would be better to do it ASAP and not in the New Year.
Again, good to see appetite from PIs to continue to support the project. Shows there is still a lot of fight yet in this.

In a hostile takeover a company would have to pay considerably more than 4p a share. They would not currently acquire us for £300m.

Thanks. What I hate is the complex structure CF created in finding this coupled with running as much of the construction in parallel.

My overly simplistic view is just delay absolutely everything except the shaft, raise a few hundred million (rights issue)...
complete shafts then raise the funds for the remainder.

But this is too simple I suspect.

For me£290m is a false value currently.
If we go bust it’s worth FA,
Any deal which preserves some SH value means the co is valued at significantly more than £290m

I think we do have a liability problem.
From memory I’m sure CF cited ‘contracts’... the shaft sink risks sat with SXX. The money folk didn’t like the liabilities sat with the shaft sitting with SXX(us) ... and then them.
Folk early on thought the construction contracts were all-risk when they never were.

Anyone with even the most remote casual if interest will have learned that the shaft sink is the liability which has tripped us up.
DMC are contracted to sink the shafts. I see they are not just a sink contractor but also run and operate mines and provide comprehensive above and below ground engineering. Their parent KGHM is a huge miner of copper...maybe a tie up...

Given your analysis on the SP what do you value the company to suitor? What would they pay? Taking into account the last 10 years, planning, mineral rights, TORPs...etc

Having little detailed knowledge of hostile takeovers it would be to learn how one would work.
Most PIs are licking their wounds so any decent premium to the existing SP could curry favour....
