At the other end of the scale, a Tesco delivery driver has just hit £20k p.a with a recent 7% rise, with the Store Manager on circa £100k. Don't worry, management is beavering away at getting more productivity out of them for that rise. Overtime, Nights and Sundays are paid at a 1.25 basic rate.
I can remember a certain Prime Minister encouraging people to buy their own homes and the Chancellor of the Exchequer promptly raising interest rates to 15%. No one got pro-rata wage rises then.
I'm afraid that this country, along with the USA, is being run by Lefties at all levels and departments, regardless of a Right-wing government in power. where you have good actors/liars getting more in benefits than a lot of people get for working full time, what chancve have you got?
