Pat, If you get in on a rise/spike, check out the RNSs beforehand to see if there are any placing shares/ CLNs outstanding, as you can bet your bottom dollar they will either be forward sold or gotten rid of. Hence the glut of shares being sold and the sp drops accordingly.

I've had a quick scan through Western Gas and the CO'S profile and find any reference to his 10% stake. But overall it looks quite promising.

There's one which escaped the net. It was 19 2p just under a year a go, hit 538p last month and promoted to the Footsie 100 tomorrow, results Wednesday.

Below the placing offer price now, bottom trawlers will be aware.

Perhaps Morrisons will give us a BOGOF share offer to lighten the load. Wherever there is big money around there is corruption.

Remember, Morrisons is owned by CD&R a US private equity firm who also have a big say in this.

Let's hope that the lenders accept Morrisons' new offer as EG takeover or administration will leave us with nothing. Fingers crossed as all parties are meeting tonight.

The BOD turned down the buyout just as Debenhams BOD and many other companies have. They don't give two hoots re shareholders. They are the ones that the FCA should investigate.

Neil, I think that you were genuine enough in your views throughout the day, but as you admit, a bit OTT. The thing is that most people who put their money don't want t to hear negative views, true or false. The positive posts are consoling to those who are unsure and annoying to those who have seen this scenario too many times. Me, I have been in many a failed company, mainly because I am a gambler. Who dares, wins or loses, namely loses on shares.

This has been a high risk for several months and mainly for traders and gamblers. A very big chance of going into administration and shareholders getting nothing, but also a slim chance of an offer.
From my past experience, the majority of companies in administration go kaput. All you can do is await the outcome and hopefully some good news comes out of it. GLA
