I'm afraid the CC is going to be a damp squib. They absolutely can not say anything in it which is SP sensitive without an RNS first....so nothing about potential deadline extensions, deals being on still (except to re -iterate what has already been said). As the markets close today until after 1st April I think it unlikely a delay will be announced unless done in the next 90 mins. I also think that once the deadline is gone it is gone.

Just skimmed through the half year report. I will not be selling today. I'm going to hide these away in a draw for 2-3 years and then come back and see where we are.

So the issue is a failure of the KSA oil company and the KSA water company to play nicely together. There are a lot of maybes in that RNS. The cynic in me wonders if the SP is going to fall tomorrow to 3p, at which point large numbers of shares will get hoovered up and contracts then get signed due to last minute effort and dialogue....these two companies probably have the same people right at the top pulling the strings. One key message missing is whether the two companies will continue to seek agreement after the April 1st deadline. Is this a shot across the bows to goad KSA into action. Or am I clutching at straws?

I'm sorry Domino but you misunderstood his comment. He said that the rate of progress was doubling, not that longevity as an absolute was doubling. The assertion that he said longevity was doubling is completely wrong. In fact in the very next sentence he clarified that next year we might see a year longevity. To illustrate I might be leaving a fixed point at 1 mph. If I double my rate of progress I will be leaving that fixed point at 2 mph but that is not even close to suggesting that I am doubling my distance from that fixed point. In fact I may be only fractionally further away at the end of each time period. I do not think you are lying, but I do think you have misinterpreted and should cease making your claim. Domino1, You cite regularly that Adam Bond said longevity was doubling every two weeks. He has never said that, and it has certainly never been the subject of an announcement or RNS. Please could you refrain from factually incorrect statements BW Athansius

Has anybody ever seen Echoes and Wendy in the same room at the same time?

Some 8 years ago my AFC shares were worth north of 60p each. I set a target of a pound a share. Nearly a decade later I am further from it than ever and less confident than ever about reaching it. Enough is enough. I will sell half my holding in April if there is no significant announcement by then, and the rest by the end of the year if there is no commercial order. If it has not happened by then I can't bear to hear more tales of delay and woe, and more reassurances of stunning progress, and more promise of an exciting year and shareholder value. For what it is worth, I don't think I will have to sell, but I do need a plan and this is it.

Dead? AFC seems positively moribund at present. I think this DEWA initiative will be pivotal. Having signed an MOU, DEWA is now it seems ready to get going. If AFC was in the frame but is no longer then that is a grave dent to both viability and reputation. On the other hand, if AFC is an integral part of this then it is game on. I am concerned that the link suggests transport to be the primary beneficiary of the hydrogen; I am also concerned that AFC is looking to notify us through the year of other exciting opportunities for its fuel cells as it knows it is going to miss the boat with this one. Remember that this was the MOU that was supposed to get us substantially to the 300 MW target, so the importance of this particular initiative can not be over estimated. If this comes off that �1 SP will be a realistic proposition. AFC really should update re some of these commercial relationships.
