Firstly they have lots of options and secondly they would have to show they are not falling foul of FCA rules. Adam has taken part of his remuneration in shares which is effectively the same thing.

At first scan these look exceptional. The list of recent achievements and the scoping of the potential pipeline is very notable indeed and advanced commercial negotiations are clearly underway. Production of several million litres of water per day!
Much to be confident about here now. The next two years are going to be very exciting.
And notably Alkammonia appears proven as a success.

These volumes must be putting pressure on the free float, which can only be good for upward pressure on the SP.

Hoping we see 12p today, with a further gradual and sustained rise next week hopefully towards 18p.

This is great news. Our first truly commercial order. Notable are:<br />That it will produce electricity at a lower cost than currently available at the site<br />That this results from an MOU signed in 2017. We knew nothing about that as AB hasn't announced MOUs. I wonder how many more such MOUs AFC are sitting on.<br /><br />It is also notable that this has been made possible because the customer has identified the need for hydrogen generation, thus affording a supply to AFC. As the hydrogen economy kicks off, AFC can only benefit and may do so hugely.<br /><br />I wonder what this will do to the SP today......the potential here (given that we are now truly commercial) is very significant.

You are so right Jimmynan. It is becoming difficult to see how AFC's actions are in the interests of shareholder value. I can't remember such a long period of time when we have heard absolutely nothing of note from the company. In reality it is a very long time since anything of substance was added as it is a very long time since they told us that PLACE is vital, that most of the metrics have been met, and that longevity is the final goal. As shareholders we have absolutely no idea what is happening.

At present it feels as if we just need blind faith that AB is working on very significant commercial avenues that will come to fruition as electrode longevity is shown. We have been told very clearly to expect that commercial traction in 2018, and that we will be introduced to exciting new markets. If this is the case then the sp will respond accordingly and AB can bask in the knowledge of a job well done.

If 2018 ends with nothing then the outlook for AFC and AB is very poor.

I have faith in the former scenario from what I have heard, but we long term holders are certainly due our rewards.

I still think the right news will see us at 50p + by the end of the year.

I don't think there is a hope of £7. Given commercial traction this year however (as promised), I think £1-£2 quite possible, and 50p probable.

Echoes, do you understand the importance of the longevity. Have you studied the costs of generation against longevity? Or the costs for other means of generation?
When we last heard AFC were between a year and two in the lab on an extrapolated basis. That was a long time ago, I'd like to know where they are now.

The sp is beginning to behave in a very concerning way in the absence of news. We are firmly in penny share territory and the market seems to have little faith in the company. I fail to see how the board can do anything but issue some sort of review statement to steady the ship. What progress has been made in the last six months, what is happening re commercial negotiations (eg any new MOUs........I know the board said they would not RNS MOUs anymore, but the absence of anything is destroying shareholder value. This is MY company and I have a right to more information than it is currently giving me.<br />

Seems unlikely that Alkammonia has had any significant failure. Such information would be very SP sensiitve and so would have required an immediate RNS. There hasn't been one.

I think we can safely surmise that if there had been a leak it would have been to someone more influential than Echoes and the SP would have reacted accordingly.
Echoes has offered to cease posting if this rumour is incorrect and I trust that, in that eventuality, she will do the honourable thing. Should she be correct I will be the first in the queue to acknowledge it and will apologise accordingly.

A fund raise with a specific aim based on progress would be fine, e.g. We have a warrantable product and need money for production. A find raise to continue doing the same and pay inflated wages will be treated as it deserves

On the absence of anything to the contrary from the company it is very hard to diasagree with Snaffleman.

The signs are becoming increasingly worrying here. The company has ceased all meaningful communication and, although the required tech targets eg longevity are well defined, there has been no official confirmation of any progress, never mind everything on which that hinges ed manufacturing deals, contracts. Meanwhile the sp continues to sink and investors are losing maonye hand over fist. AB takes an enormous salary, but has never invested in the company the virtues of which he extols. He claims not to know why the SP isn't much higher. Really?? If he does not understand that a complete lack of visible progress, a lack of support by directors and a failure to hit milestones will affect the SP he is in the wrong job. A further very significant fall in the SP yesterday and still no comment from the board. If you believe what AFC have said (and I still give the benefit of the doubt until tangible news to the contrary) this will come good, but the board is not doing us any favours at present.

Echoes, once again you post misleading information as fact. Polemos went up simply because they undertook a 100:1 share consolidation on 18th may (not a split as Strurmtrupper suggests...a split would have resulted in more share and a depressed SP.) You really do need to get a better grip on these issues if you are going to comment. Do you understand what a share consolidation is, and if so why did you post so misleadingly citing Polemos as an example of a company that has had a major instant rise in market cap?

Really Echoes. A mcap of £400m in a few hours? I don't think so.

Unbelievable Echoes. You had the audacity to ask what sort of person I am for saying AFC's ,timeline is too long for me and then tell us to turn the lights off in August.

Hi Silures I do indeed feel that there is more upside than downside here which is why I remain heavily invested. I have simply taken the view that I don't want all the money I had in AFC tied up for a longer period than I had envisaged....there are opportunities elsewhere that I think will come along first. I may increase my holding, but it is a few weeks since I sold and AFC has fallen by some 20%; the re-invested money however has risen by over 10% . I fully accept that AFC could make that big announcement tomorrow, and I hope they do and that all on here make a mint (including sturmtrupper!!). I will increase my holding towards the end of the year if there appear signs of progress.
