They have had weeks to think about how they prepare a more impressive AGM offering than they have. Others have done it and done it well. This shower has specifically warned people not to turn up (again it’s about how the message is communicated) done the minimum possible (nothing on the day) and can’t even get the Q&A out in a timely fashion. A presentation with commentary would have been easy.
I am 24 hours from losing all remaining faith. These are not people I trust with my money.

I agree Muscorum...I suspect JR didn't even turn up. Would all have been done remotely.

I would be very interested to know what the staff have been doing during lock down to warrant these options now. Interesting time to dilute us the day before the non AGM.

Regrettably I think AB’s time has come too. He has failed at all turns to match the hype and expectation with any meaningful results. Covid provides a natural hiatus during which a new team can come in and inject some passion, vigour and hopefully make progress.
Rennocks also needs to go. He is the wrong figurehead for this company.

It doesn't look like the market is pricing anything positive or negative into the AGM this week. I suspect that, like many of us, it expects the AGM to be a non event.

I logged on Fred with the intention of providing some answers to your questions. However your last post shows you up for exactly what you are.

AB and AFC could minimise the risk by at least doing some comms.

The blog, prominent on the opening page of the AFC website, has had just three entries this year. With the AFC staff largely at home surely someone could add something to this every few days to show that the AFC lights are still on , talk about what people are doing, plans once lock down is finished. Jim and AB continue to take their salaries; I have no problem with that as long as they are earning them....and I'd quite like to know how. Otherwise one of them should be furloughed for the duration.

I do hope thought that AB an the team have been keeping the lines of communication open with potential clients and making very reassuring noises. Some will be pleased to hear that they are "front of the queue" when the demand for the AFC product "ramps up after Covid". They will need to earn favoured client status by placing orders or formal MOUs (Eg we will buy pending planning permission)
The AFC team is still being paid its wages and so has a responsibility to progress wherever it sees opportunity at prsent.

Sorry Peanut9 but I think you are out of order.

Things may look very straightforward from your view, but there are many competing complexities. I was one of those who was a little incredulous when Boris got elected, but I think his response and that of the government has been largely proportionate and appropriate. There are reasons why the things you feel should happen at a given point in time may not, and decisions to the uninformed do not always seem as logical as they might.

Mucksy, your posts have gone from unhinged to completely irresponsible. Frankly your behaviour at this time beggars belief. Please stop posting unverified, and deeply suspect, information. There are those who will believe you and alter this behaviour. This might kill people.

Personally I think we will see a fall tomorrow after the rise on Friday.
I think we may well end up in single digits again.
The real question is how long this will last for, and how quickly we will get back to business as usual afterwards. If, as I still think likely, it is largely over in three months then by the end of the year momentum should again be with us and I see the SP around the year highs based on expectation/optimism.
If it goes on for a year then who knows.....the world and associated infrastructure may be very different. I do however think that the virus and its effects will focus minds on ecology, the climate and a healthier environment and investment decisions will reflect that. AFC should benefit.
So long term I still see the £1 party!!
