Thanks Reonin
Sadly AFC is a far bigger proportion of my portfolio than any financial adviser would admit to being sensible. If it goes up I'm a trading genius....if it goes down I'm either stupid or greedy. I'm prepared to take the risk as I think the upside potential significantly outweighs the downside.
I really want to see AFC do well, and think they have both an ecological and economic role to play. It annoys me intensely when the de rampers come here with facts, some true, some spurious, but none that we are not all aware of. They feel spiteful, vindictive and opportunistic.
But it also annoys me when AFC promise a firestorm of communication and follow it up over the next week with a tweet. This is not a firestorm, in the same way that the small ripples on the boating lake I am presently looking at do not constitute a tsunami. Adam, take note.
I do wonder if the promise of the imminent social media blitz was part responsible for the huge spike this week. If so it was irresponsible and misleading. The FCA would have something to say about it. So what ever it is AFC think they have to announce, they should jolly well get on with it.
