It's been nice having a break from the boards for a couple of weeks, and it doesn't look as though I have missed much. I was hoping to have heard less from Yellow and more from AFC during my time away, but seems that was a bit forlorn....until this morning's RNS at least.

I hope there is a lot happening in the background; AFC may be doing blinding things, but the comms remains less than perfect! Welcome news today, even if not an order.

I'm going to take a break from the board for a couple of weeks. It has sunk to new lows with these conspiracy theories, and with the incessant de ramping of some. Informed posters seem to have been displaced largely and there is little meaningful discussion about AFC. At present the board is not a useful place from which to gain information or seek balanced views.

Of course much of the issue is that AFC is giving us nothing to discuss. I will keep an eye out for announcements, and may come back earlier if anything meaningful is released, but as I have said before, I don't expect anything to come of EV. I remain optimistic for AFC via the other avenues however.

I hope you all have a fruitful couple of weeks and enjoy the last remnants of summer. Perhaps there will be more to discuss in October when I return.

I was there too Yellow. And I must have seen a different piece of kit to you. Of more relevance I was with a colleague who is an electromechanical engineer (and AFC investor) and felt the product looked well put together.

It oes rather feel a left behind with respect to Ev charging. if they are involved in significant EV-related discussions I wish they would let us know!

I always felt Akhtar was a loss to AFC when he left. He now seems to be leading AFC in a sector that I think is vital to us and the roll out of our solid cell when it comes on line.

I wonder if he left AFC on friendly terms as there is an opportunity for collaboration if he did. Adam must know him...the UK fuel cell world is quite small.

Whilst I share the concerns that EV is going nowhere logic suggests that can't be the case as the EV sales manager is still in his job. Unless they have updated his job description from EV manager to re-tweeter of posts . If so then in fairness he is doing more that TUVA on the PR front!

Give TUVA a chance. They don't get out of bed until 10 am.

So August is well out of the way, and everyone who was only holiday is now back at work so we can look forward to lots of contracts being announced.

Although I remain concerned about EV. We have heard absolutely nothing about EV for months, except for Extreme E. Which will get us lots of publicity. But why do we need it. We had hundreds of people beating a path to our door, including a myriad of household names we were talking to. So we don't really need the publicity, certainly in the UK. They already know about us. So let's hope those deals are well advanced or EV is dead in the water.

Maybe genset replacement deals like Acciona. Cant see anyone buying there until the trial is out of the way (even if the trial is irrelevent to a potential customer's specific situation. So I hope to see deals there in Q2 2021.

What I do hope for is that we will see MOUs for the solid cell being incorporated into vehicular applications (eg trains) at the design stage....the cell itself should be ready.

But maybe salvation yet is in the stationary power market as in Germany. The very market AFC moved away from to focus on EV.
