I am convinced CDT will be back at US$10 plus in the near future and the market will have to price in to VELA's share price at some point!

I think 0.035 will go within minutes of the opening then 0.040, we may see a spike up above this depending on volume, then a slight sell off whilst we await the opening of CDT stateside. A positive opening for CDT will see VELA run again possibly to 0.05 or higher. It should all be fun to watch but unfortunately I have to drive to meet clients tomoroow who are flying in from Malaysia so won't have a ring side seat. Good luck to those trading tomorrow but personally I am holding a little longer looking for bigger gains of 0.1 or higher if CDT can push nack over $10

I know its mostly about CDT at the moment but good to remember we do have other investments of value as well!

Seriously though 1,015,760 is a good result as I think most here had estimated 976,000 shares so an additional 39,760 shares at say US$5 is around another US$200k more than expected which is not to be sniffed at!

Better be quick on the buy button Monday morning MSUK this is going to go in to the Stratosphere!

Even UncleJim is predicting a 100% rise Monday which to be honest would bring us somewhere close to fair conservative value with a slight discount to NAV as seems to be the way VELA is valued by the market.

CDT has consolidated recent gains and could well push higher, hopefully the BOD will sell in small tranches so as not to impact the CDT share price as we sell and bank profits. I would like it if the BOD decided to keep at least half the shares in CDT as a longer term investment as we could easily see a return to $10 in the near future. Before the merger MURF had been solid at around $10 for months before wild movememts up and down post the business combination with CDT.

Well the increase from $4.68 to $5.00 = $0.32 so 1,015,760 shares x $0.32 = $325,043 not a bad days work for VELA

The VELA share price at the momenent is now a complete joke and we should see a big re-rate Monday!

That explains why it may have been hard to buy if Gary has been buying up any spare shares. It seems like more and more of the shares are now in the hands of a few investors who are holding more long term so I think the free float of shares here maybe getting smaller. Obviously a low free float should see the share price move quickly when news drops!

I think a few may have sold here earlier due to very slight dip in CDT price Pre-Market but I wouldn't pay too much attention to the price until the market opens proper.
