Spot on BD, might need a little patience or CDT could rocket back up either way I am happy that we will have 960,000 shares in CDT on the books with a tangable value associated to them, rather than the previous situation of the SGSC investment having an unknown value, which could not be priced in when assessing the fair value of VELA's investment portfolio.

To be fair the MURF price was $16.85 before been changed to CDT so not surprised they are not updating too quickly 😂

Joe that's just how things are on the Nasdaq at the moment a lot of companies using SPAC type listings are getting shorted upon listing, easy money for co-ordinated attacks often using algorithm programmes to take the price down. In a few weeks I am convinced CDT will be back to around the $10 mark however presents a great opportunity for VELA if our BOD can time the PUT option well, if we can get $4.8M worth of shares at $5 each that would be 960,000 shares in CTD, then top slice as the share price recovers.

I think the share price compliance is US$ 1.00. I am also interested in TLSA listed on the Nasdaq and this is currently trading at around US$ 0.66 but companies are given a certain amount of time to regain compliance

To be honest just winding up Traxpern as he posted a similar message on the VELA board today so thought I would return the favour! I am invested here and to be honest quite positive that long term CIZ is a good investment just worried that it's going to be a longer wait than I hoped. I'll sleep on it and see how things look in the morning.

Hi peakdist I don't think it resets just that any calcuations would be based on US$ 5 as the lowest amount even if the price was say $4.50 on some days. At some point we shpuld receive an RNS to confirm that the PUT option has been excersicised like CIZ did this morning. Snowdrop I see you have just messaged similar

THG this does have the potential to play out well for us, already it seems we have played this better than CIZ by not triggering the PUT option yet, which with the decline in the CDT price is the correct play. I know Brent Fitzpatrick and James Normand get plenty of stick on here but they have been round the block once or twice and that experience could pay dividends here. Not quite an open goal but definetly a decent chance of a big pay day for VELA

Yes agree Andy but completly possible this could happen, what is for sure is VELA will get a lot of shares in CDT which they can sell at some point for the market price at the time be that US$5 $10 $20 all of whuch we have seen MURF / CDT trading at recently.
