The tendering process is full of strict rules & regulations. Maybe it was as basic as ITM being unable to comply with requirements, too slow or too expensive.
It says Remosa got the contract. Do ITM get any crumbs from this?
That looks great. Excellent application. Much nicer than Arrival and hope they can get into the market before the Big Boys.
I agree markbantam and a good article. Love the 'Ketchup effect' phrase and very important for a Company of this size.
There is a future obviously for hydrogen generally and I really hope ITM get a good slice of the pie. At the moment it is loss making, overvalued and speculative. Don't put the farm on it, we're in difficult times. But if it takes off then that would be great.
That's odd. E_AL's technical chart suggests a rise.
Oh well, we're in tricky times with a bit of a volatile stock.
You have Siemens, Cummins, PlugPower and others. I have no idea of their quality/safety compared to ITM but they are much bigger than ITM as Companies with more capital to throw around to expand.
I'm sure we'll see a flood of cheaper Electrolysers/electrolyzers from China. Probably subsidised like steel and solar panels to undercut Western products.
A COP conference will probably do more for ITM (and AFC Energy) stock than a project being announced (joke).
Er um don't understand. My only agenda is to make a few bob and not go down a rabbit hole (like I did with Paypal).
I'm a big fan of Hydrogen playing a big part in industry and transportation.
I see. So Linde+partner could use a different (non ITM) electrolysis method for H2 production when tied in with a Steel producer or other industry?
I doubt that Linde have limited themselves with a single electrolyser source. Oh dear, that's got me more worried. I won't be betting the Farm on this one.
There is a lot of great news regarding green hydrogen and industrial applications as well as transport.
The relationship between RWE Renewables, ArcelorMittal and Linde looks good as it, hopefully, will involve ITM.
And it looks like Thyssenkrupp (steel) could be a lucrative user too. Others to follow I suspect.
Whilst I don't blindly take individual analyst targets as gospel I am a little worried at the wobbly/falling SP for ITM.
Are ITM actually big enough to support (even partly) these bigger projects?
There's nothing stopping Linde partnering up with bigger manufacturers of electrolyzer even with their JV with ITM.
Fingers crossed ITM get a decent slice of the pie rather than crumbs.
I just bought a few bob's worth @ 201 so I am hopeful even if if the Company is overvalued (hey, so is Tesla ha ).
Maybe Linde or someone will buy them out and grow the Company.
I seriously hope the Company can thrive before lower-cost electrolysers from China become too tempting.
