Showing as 31% up which would be nice but my live trades show that nothing has gone through higher than 0.094p so far today. The MM's have upped the ask to 0.12p but that seems a little optimistic. We shall see.

1.2p would be nice. That gives a m/cap of GBP40M with current number of shares in issue - not excessive for their assets.

Is this the point where the shareprice changes direction and starts a slow climb back up - possibly..........m/cap is tiny - under GBP3M - considering their assets.

Best of luck to anyone now paying 650% or 6.5 times the placing price to be in this share that has now enough cash to last a few more months. I have seen huge share price rises before when Dave Lenigas or James Parsons has joined a board but this Kloeppers is not a big hitter - I certainly hadn't heard of him and Zorbas is generally regarded as the main man at URU. By the way if ANR had raised at 0.5p they would have raised GBP2.1M but they didn't - they raised GBP210K. I bet these 2 investors are feeling on top of the world with their GBP210K investment currently worth GBP1.35Million - not bad for 3 days work. ATB

Well the placing today valued the market cap at GBP700K - about right for the state of the funding. Last placing 3 months ago at 0.15p which was 200% higher than today's effort. SP for next funding???????????

Looking at yoshie's post this might be what is going on here. He says that the placing price is almost double the now share price. Methinks he has his 0's a little wrong. yoshie - the placing price is very clearly shown as 0.05p per share. The current share price is 0.25p per share. The current shareprice is 5 times higher than the placing price. Alternatively the placing price is 5 times lower than the current shareprice. The placing was for 420,000,000 shares at 0.05p to raise GBP210,000. That will give 1,411,956,853 shares in issue which at 0.25p gives a m/cap of GBP3,527,500.

Might be worth emailing the CEO and suggesting he might want to do his placing through Primary Bid - that way anyone and everyone can get in at the placing price rather than at a 200%/300% premium.

Zorbas maybe but even he doesn't seem to have helped MRS much and the board state very clearly that this funding is only going to provide the Company with additional working capital to assist in funding its immediate obligations - ie pay for the office and the wages and no more. I see people are still happy to pay nearly 300% higher than the placing price (0.195p). I shall watch intrigued. Personally I'd rather get in at 0.06p/0.07p or thereabouts and see the shareprice go up to 0.195p.

It's a smart move to buy a share at 0.05p and to sell at 0.245p but to pay 390% more than today's placing price and buy at 0.245p seems a tad risky. I think a few punters had a rush of blood to the head which they might regret later. It can get very confusing with these micro shareprices and it's not easy to see that 0.10p is 100% higher than the placing price, 0.15p is 200% higher and 0.20p is 300% higher, etc. These are big overpayments surely.

So what. The placees have obviously looked at the company, the assets and analysed the risk and decided to fund the everyday working of Altona�s immediate corporate costs at 0.05p per share. But no suddenly PI's decide the shareprice should be 0.20p, 0.235p even 0.245p and no doubt even more pretty soon. Crazy. Maybe the placees should have paid 0.20p or 0.245p per new share.

Any particular reason people are buying these at 3/4 times the placing price.

This seems to be in much the same position as Trinidad Exploration (TRIN) were in a couple of years ago. The management here have been very slow to adapt to the lower oil prices and instead of cutting salaries and costs they have let the debts pile up. Production is falling every month and without new drilling will keep falling. The good news is that the debt is owed to a bank rather than another company (as they would have just seized the assets). Bank debt can be worked out as happened at TRIN. TRIN had higher production but bigger debts. Their shareprice went as low as 2p giving them the same sort of m/cap - about GBP2M - as here. They went into suspension for about 6 months and all seemed lost but miraculously they worked out a deal to write off a lot of the debt by raising cash (at 2/3 times the last trading SP before suspension) and paying off some of the debt. They now have a much reduced and manageable debt and a m/cap of over GBP50M. It's all down to the management here to work something out. As they have producing assets they should manage to stay afloat. But then other oil producers deep in debt have been less savvy than TRIN and ended up with 20 times dilution to stay afloat so this could go either way. The management could even sit around and sink with the ship and all hands. I'm not a holder here and not much of a gambler even with hundreds so I'm not going to chuck anything on here without knowing what the management intend to do - that is apart from the nothing they have done so far which has seen the shareprice fall and fall for the last year or two. It's getting towards a critical time now with production falling and the banks calling. Also not sure what is owed in Loan Notes to Claesson and co. They will probably have to take a hit too for HAWK to stay afloat. Just my thoughts.

No, of course it doesn't have to stay in Italy. North Sea, Eastern Europe, Georgia - anywhere there is gas (and oil). Sure they have big plans which will come with resumption of trading.

This might have been a slow burner if SRON were just acquiring the Italian assets. In fact it would have made pretty boring news on it's own. This is all about the 3 new board members and particularly JP and FA. I rather don't think they will have agreed to join the board of the newly created company just because they were worried they might have sold on a lot of old dusters. They would have disappeared quick with the cash/shares and been glad to get rid of a load of old unproductive assets. They obviously have some big ideas in the pipeline and an enlarged company must fit into their plans.

M/cap was less than �7M at close yesterday. More than double the existing number of shares will be issued on resumption of trading. I would probably expect an early rise on resumption as the SOUND/ECHO shareholders (mainly LTH's rather than traders) will buy in in the expectation of another huge company in the making as they will already be holders of shares in the new company and will want to get more before any big news is announced.

This isn't really about the assets. It's all about the management they've acquired and the probability of the management bringing fresh ideas and investment cash with them.

Hopefully with the new board members the new group will come back from suspension with some new exciting plans too.

To just acquire these assets might have been seen as a tad uninteresting but to add these members to the board is phenomenal and is inferring great things are going to happen.

Something about more confusing and stupid share sells at silly prices which as another poster added we don't need to know the sell price anyway. They can keep that private. Unless it's some half-arsed attempt to get the shareprice to rise in which case it isn't going to work. Getting some contracts and revenue here might do the trick though. Now delete that.
