It's better these days as you get a chance to say why you are reporting a post.

You can easily tell when things are not going very well when the known rampers start attacking and being rude to any posters that may have a view or opinion that in any way differs from theirs.

Of course instead of making rude personal comments they could post something positive about Big Dish but to tell the truth there just isn't that much to get excited about here in the short term.

No new restaurants added - again.

I just can't see what's going to get the share price moving upwards at this slow rate of progress.

Yawn, yawn, yawn.

This has gone completely dead again looking at today's trades.

9 altogether of which approx. 200,000 were buys and 730,000 were sells. That just about says it all really.

There's not even much point in counting restaurants on the App at the moment as they seem to have stopped bothering signing any more up for now.

Not too sure what will give the share price a good kick up the arse but I hope they find something.

1) Sanj Naha joined Big Dish on 1st October 2018 "to assist in developing the UK strategy".He was promoted to CEO mid-February.

And yes I was posting very positive posts way back last November if not earlier.

In fact if anyone wants to check I made the very first post on this board on the day they floated.

The slow progress has left me a little frustrated.

Still great potential as my earlier post that mentioned eatigo pointed out.

Do I want to listen to another podcast - no.

Do I want to see lots more restaurants signed up - yes.

And before we start on the subject if you compare the cost of acquisitions to the cost of signing up restaurants the old-fashioned B2B way the figures are compelling for doing this the old way. Big Dish paid £1 million for Table Pouncer and all they have got for that on the App is the 47 restaurants from Bournemouth. The 50 or so restaurants they've signed in Bristol and Southampton have been acquired for the cost of two territory managers for less than 3 months wages plus costs - which could be as low as £20K/£30K. I tell you which one of those two makes the most sense.

I wasn't questioning beebopalula contacting The Swan rather I was questioning jabberba's nonsense post whereby he is claiming he was trying to ask the waiters how they are getting on with Big Dish instead of booking a 50% off meal.

"no funding needed" was said in January or early February but that can change very quickly especially if they have to pay this Loud Mouth bunch.

As for eatigo they seat more than 1 million diners every month - at say $1.50 per diner that's roughly $18M dollars revenue per annum (£13M/14m) and that's very good for a company that can break even very quickly and has very low overheads - no restaurants, no big offices, no huge staff numbers, etc, etc.

If Big Dish get anywhere near this sort of figure in the next year or two the share price will multibag many times over.

angelaj6611 - it's not whether I have any business sense. That is of no concern here and I do not need you to pick on me or my posts thank you. The question that matters is whether the Big Dish management have any business sense. They are the ones in question as this roll-out stutters along with lots of talk, talk, talk but only a limited amount of action.

The Swan is in Bradford-on-Avon not Bath so I think you are making it all up.

32 restaurants added in March (though there are technically still 2 days to go). An improvement on the 20 added in February but still very slow. And now things seem to have ground to a halt with none added now for a few days.

107 in total. Slow going.

eatigo have 4400+ restaurants operating the same yield management system so that proves it can be done. What are they waiting for? Get on with it.

You don't say you had a booking, so did you just pop in when driving past and ask them if they are really doing discount meals with Big Dish? As if you don't believe the App exists in the real world.

As the discounts are only available with a pre-booking on the Big Dish App/website then the waiter would be under no obligation to discuss Big Dish or discounts if you didn't have a booking as they can't give the discounts without a booking. And if you eat there without booking it through Big Dish you must be bonkers anyway.

Maybe you should download and read the App. You have to make a booking first to qualify for the discount.

The persistent 5000 buys are pushing this up at the moment.

No posts but this doesn't need them to rise. If results are ahead of expectations this could start to get back to previous levels.

I was expecting the share price to move back towards 5p with the progress that was being made but then when that last RNS came out I posted that the share price was probably more likely to end up back at 1.5p again. Looks like that is the nearest at the moment.

I don't think it's any of your business what I do or don't do with my shares. If you read my posts they are all geared towards Big Dish, number of restaurants signed, targets, etc. My posts are not personal digs or insults at other posters. Please refrain.

I have noticed this a lot. The so-called "derampers" always tend to post opinions about a company while the wild rampers can only make personal, rude posts about these posters. Of course this is because the rampers have nothing to say because the truth is there isn't anything happening to get excited about anyway.

Big Dish need to take advantage of a seriously good opportunity and get a move on and get new restaurants signed up as soon as possible.

Big Dish clearly missed the boat in Asia where they have 100/200 restaurants on their platform while the more successful eatigo have over 4400 and seat more than 1 million diners every month. There is no eatigo or any other company in the same line of business operating in the UK so Big Dish has the chance to make this their territory. Instead all they do is sit around doing podcasts and presentations and releasing RNS's using terms like "in due course", "expects to", "considering expanding into". That is not a positive attitude.

No, I'm just looking at and commenting on the share price actually. You though seem to be happy to listen to even more ramping nonsense from the management who get so far ahead of what is really going on it all becomes a bit of a joke - as is reflected in the share price which is now at roughly a 50% discount to the IPO share price.

All of the targets are being missed and all they have is 107 restaurants to show for 8 months work. There were actually 110 on the Table Pouncer platform on a good day so they have a net overall loss of restaurants.

Bournemouth was meant to be 50 restaurants at launch with more added - but the total has stuck at 47 maximum. More restaurants were due to be added to Bath but that has stuck at 8 and Southampton is well below target with 12 instead of 20. Only Bristol has impressed.

I didn't hold before today and have bought a small amount.

Something will happen - either Sefton will find a partner or get the share price to rise and then get a placing off to pay for the drill, or possibly something else................it's just a pity they didn't get rid of Idiens as that might of doubled the share price on its own anyway.

Much of the impetus has been lost here due to the very poor last RNS. Bristol was going nicely with 40 restaurants signed up in a couple of months but now inaction has set back in with nothing happening in T2 until April/May. Southampton has clearly missed the target of 20 restaurants by the end of March.

The wording was very poor:

"Further to the announcement on 28 February 2019, Southampton has now gone live, with new restaurants continuing to be added. The Company expects to expand into Territory Three in April or May, beginning with Brighton. Further towns that will form part of Territory Three will be identified in due course. BigDish is also considering expanding into Exeter in April or May as part of Territory Two."

"considering expanding" into Exeter - very poor attitude.

Everything is "in due course", "expects to", "considering expanding into" - what sort of wording is that. Either they are going to get on with the job in hand or the shareholders will soon let them know when they are falling behind again - hence the falling share price.

All just my opinion.

Maybe AAOG are going to sign up to a JV/farm-in and fund the drill costs.

I have found the info thanks. From RNS dated 19/4/2018:

"Following the completion of the first phase of the well design work, the new operational team has also completed time/cost estimates for the initial well. It is currently expected that the total cost of the well (including completion, testing and tie-in costs) will be in the range of US$7-8 million, which is well below our previous budgeted forecast of US$8-10 million."

This figure - about £5.75M - includes completion, testing and tie-in costs so they could get away with raising less to begin with.
