This could finally be the catalyst that spurs potential bidders into action - I wonder !

However, can't but think, while appearing supportive through visible equity stakes, they (!) may be hedging, speculating, or even betting against the company using less transparent instruments.

After an outstanding RNS earlier in the week ( in Solg terms) it ended disappointingly, reinforcing my view to ongoing selling pressure or possible coordinated trades by large holders to suppress sustainable / any price rises. Oh well, its Friday !

Great update – sometimes you have to accept the trade-off: you can’t both renegotiate a better deal and expect the licence process to move quickly. That said, it does feel like we’ve been here forever!

80 Mile’s exit from Metals One was well-timed, coming just as heavy dilution from warrant exercises. By selling early, they avoided the sharp decline that followed and secured a strong return before market sentiment turned negative due to the rapid increase in shares and investor concerns over dilution.

Lessons learnt from the past, bodes well going forward - Welldone to 80m board.

Lithium spot prices in China have risen for 12 consecutive days as of July 9, 2025. On this date, the spot price for battery-grade lithium carbonate reached 63,300 CNY/ton, up 0.64% from the previous day. Over the past month, the price has increased by about 5%.

Futures contracts on the Guangzhou Futures Exchange (GFEX) for July delivery (LC2507) also closed at 65,000 CNY/ton on July 9.
