RE: Cheyeza on Google Earth17 Jun 2019 22:21
Rocktapper, as we know so far the deposits in zamsort area are VMS type deposits, they come in clusters, kalaba is one of them, it is 5 km long and 2.5 km wide, it is dipping gently under ground, the visible tip of it is what is shown on the EM map. these structures are created long time ago in deep ocean and migrated to where they are now. the original shape of each deposit was mushroom shape by they being twisted and turned by the tectonic plates movement.
usually these mushrooms contain copper in the middle and heavier metals in the perimeter. so having traces of iron in the perimeter is normal. what matters is the copper deposit in the center and how it slides underground. by the look of the size of exposed ore at surface and the sample quality, cheyeza could be what we are waiting for. I don't think an experienced team would sample an area that is composed of recent deposit. they mast be sampling a real layer that has root in the ground.
