you are welcome p00rman, copper oxide mines are usually stock exposed to the air 'as oxygen does not exist underground' as an oxidant agent, so kalaba may have some stock of copper oxide but all hidden ore is sulfate and needs to be processed in the plant they built, then they have to get rid of the sulfate and smelt the ore to get copper. I don't think there is an issue with selling the final product as long as they adhere to the standards needed in the final product. as to selling copper short, that as well could be achieved if they want to, that may help raise some finance but they have to deliver in time or.
as to the impurities, the smelter may help them get rid of the cobalt but they are not going to get any price for it, if they are not going to get extra charge for removing the impurities. so separation of cobalt at the plant is the best way forward.
