copper demand rise by 900% means:
all copper belt deposits deep under ground deemed less attractive now will be in demand later.
zamsort deep under ground deposits such as kalaba north will be in demand soon. it is a huge deposit
at the moment every one is after exposed minerals such as kalaba near ground deposit, kalambula and may be cheyesa soon.
This is why this facts should be factored in selling copper mines.

p00rman, what is missing from kalaba jorc estimation is the distance between the drills. if they are close, say 100 m then you can expect the jorc to be 7 millions. if the distance is big, you can expect the jorc to be big. I saw companies drilling for gold or lithium adopting a very narrow distance between the drills. the case for copper is not the same, the price of copper is not comparable to gold or lithium, so I do not expect experienced explorer to drill every 100 m to explore copper deposits. This is why I based my estimation on larger distances. It will stay open till we get the scaled map of the drill with, then we can say for certain what is it.

sure, getting grips on progress is a key here, we have to deliver objectives one by one, we don't want to have a pile of work in progress and broken balance sheet, sturec, casa and kalaba have to show some return this year.

in short what the majors are looking for is a economic proved resources to start with, and they can expand it later. the problem now for NvS is to define the limits for every salable resource to get the best price. and this apply to kalaba as well.

The fact that copper in the copper belt in the zamsort area is showing at different places, this proves that the area between these visible ' to magnetic survey' deposits, does contain the same staff with variable depth, here we have kalaba that does not show significant deposits 'on the magnetic survey' yet it does have significant deposit 'from drills'. I am almost sure the whole area is covered with the same staff but at different depth. This is why kalaba is may be stretching now beyond the initial perimeter. This is the main reason behind the delay given the rainy season factor as well. It is called copper belt for a reason. I still believe that the flat area at the north east of zamsort may be the biggest find if the ore is not deep.

chinaBlue, I don't know what to say, but you are constantly crying. you are so negative. If this is you true feeling here why can't you just sell and wait. No need to constantly cry and expel your negativity here. NvS has sound record of management and he is putting his cash where his words are. some delay here and there wont harm long term investment. why can't you look at the map and see where this investment is. It is not high street new yourk.

and assuming some consistency exists in kalaba area, the firs estimates are approximately
100,000,000 tons of ore at 0.5 % cu, per square kilometer
from the fact that we have 8 km^2 in kalaba a reasonable jorc of 400,000,000 tons is withing reach.
for the moment we can assume that we have at least 100,000,000 Tons of ore wishing for the best results of 1 billion tons. there is still strong hope in kalaba.

that is what we should look for. a Jorc. if we have a map with the drill sites on it we can estimate the jorc within 10% to 20%.

I was not looking at what NvS has said. I was looking at the airborne map and it clearly shows that kalaba is the poorest choice given what is in its north east or north west. the earl choices were made on sample surveys but the magnetic mapping shows some think completely different. sample surveys are affected by soil erosion and hence why kalaba has surface minerals, the magnetic map shows the source of minerals somewhere else. I guess I might be wrong.

p00rman, kalaba jorc has to wait, the new airborne survey map revealed new information about the south west area where kalaba is located, I guess Kalaba is much bigger now than what initially being drilled. so I guess lots of new drills need to be carried out to assess the extended kalaba area. sturec and casa can't be made public till they are finalized deals. the area where kalaba is located has multiple folds rather than the initial one they assessed.

NvS strongly believe is going to make a hefty profit on his investment. that is what all major investors here believe. the traders are invested in news. unfortunately that may come when the least expected. good luck!!

This is a promise from local authority chief to local workforce, It is not directed to share holders. He is right, locals are starting getting jobs and training while the unit is still under construction. for share holders the perspective is a bit different, 98% means all machinery in place and all workers know what they should do. it is only a week or two to push production to 100%. clearly the first perspective is the winner. Never the less, we will have some cash coming in while the digging and resource appreciation is happening somewhere else. hold tight. Lots to wait for

It can't be all these shares traded today.
For the whole day we have seen less then 2,000,000 shares traded
So I guess the first two was a transfer to reduce tax. and the third was left from yesterday.

Directors and managers of ARCM are holding large shank of the issued shares, and they have bought at 3p, 4.5p or above most of their shares. I don't see how they are going to allow the next dilution for a price that makes them losers. by the feel of things, the directors don't have serious spare cash to create any opportunity for themselves to buy cheep. so any further dilution before positive news that makes sp move up is a suicide. I guess they are going to prove the mine is worth more than what it is now before any further negotiation for JV or dilution. They are in the same boat as we are.

chin, I think they have enough cash for at least one digging year. In the mean time we will have a flow of good news including casa , new samples and drills and sturec and CSD and the donkey rooming next to the new plant, I think the donkey will sacrificed at the start up of the plant, it is a good sign of hard work.
