Some African politicians think that elections are a permit to kill. this is why the army and old administration has to reason with the new comers to go for a soft change not a wild one. I think the elected one is already supported by the old school, He is the oldest opposition in the country and he does understand what to compromise. good deal Kabila. and good future for DRC. peace and soft changes is what is needed, not revolts and destructions.

p00rman, delaying an election in Africa is not an option, who in this world would give his opponents an opportunity to spread doubt. and who is going to cast a doubt on it. the opponents always will say it is rigged no matter what. but that is it unless they are willing to face the army. foreign observers! they could say anything who cares. they will be against the nation interests and serving the interests of foreign circles.

elections in Africa never bring a new party to power, it is always the old boys giving away some of their power to buy peace. that is what is going to happen, Kabila is not allowed to stand for new presidency but his right hand is going to be elected, some agree some disagree, some running and shouting in the streets and it will return to normal. there is no stomach for civil war any more. it is already flat.
