Hydrothermal mineral deposits are divided into six main subcategories: porphyry, skarn, volcanogenic massive sulfide (VMS), sedimentary exhalative (SEDEX), and epithermal and Mississippi Valley-type (MVT) deposits.
They all have the same source, underground magma chambers, sedimentary are much older of course.
NvS mentioned VMS though. clearly kalaba is a layer of rocks-rich minerals dipping gently underground. a layer of ~60m average rock-rich minerals.
if the other anomalies have the same structure, 'layer of 3 km deep' that is beyond comprehension, unless it is few hendreds deep but dipping very very slowly
