jamesroo, in this podcast Bernie have just said, we will start building the mine just after licence, and he said the cost of plant they are looking at is 70m and the major strategic investor has already promised finance although he tried to hide it.
He also said that major shareholders are backing the project development.
he mentioned that 'spodemene' production should be in 2020 or at least by end of 2010.

you don't have to hang around for long, it all 2 to 3 months and we see the light at the end of the tunnel. fingers crossed.
today is the turning point for sp, it may see some recovery.

BA is fully backed by main share holders to production stage, including last plant finance '70 m'.
insider and locals got their incentives at 0.08 so they expect a gain from here.

Bernie is quiet sure he is going to build the plant and start production by end 2020, So there is a deep pocket in the background, and the price of dilution is going to be certainly match higher than the last placing price, unless people want to sell at a loss there is no point in selling now if you are in.

hornedrum, I,ve being with this share since it was 1.2, 0.8.....0.04..., we know the cash will not last for ever and a serious decision has to be made 3 months from now , that is T/O or financing the plant with 70m, so keeping warning from dilution for further drills is not going to help, What matters is insiders are backing the boss and we should stick to that, unless we have other options. Try to convince me that locals and managers put their hands in their pockets and contributed the last sum just to sit by Bernie and watch their investment dwindle. If you read my few last posts you find that I gave an example of arcm which did the same thing few weeks ago and got very positive results after that.

amazing, some people keep posting negative stuff about kod and BoD. Do they really have shares here and want just to destroy their value? or may be they don't and they want to buy cheap? Or they have psychological deficiency and they want others to keep boosting their faith in kod. amazing how some posters find it very normal to keep wasting other people time and money.

Next it will be either a bid for the lot or a serious fundraising to finance the plant. I can see the upside here within the 3 months period.
if there will be an offer I will expect it to be less than 0.60 but higher than 0.40, still a good bargain to buy.

SorbB, I 'v seen this move few weeks ago when arcm offered shares the same way as kod did today, only for close ones and locals at a discout, it was a special one for the close ones, every one was angry but now everyone is satisfied. It is a way for managers to reward his mates and make strong friends and backers, sure he does not want to make them unhappy, they are not too far from him and some of them have power to upset his peace.
usually this move is always fallowed by good moves, today Sc got onl 65,000,000 from the 700, 000,000 that gives you an indication where the BOD is stressing his focus, he is looking for strong support within his entourage. I guess it time for negotiation for the big lot.

before today's RNS the fear was that there is no interest in kod management to resist a low offer from the buyer. Now we have a set of stake holders who are interest in higher offer price that suits the PIs as well. The move allowed the management to be balances in favor of PIs.

Sc, are not under water at all, like for like they know they have a valuable asset in kod, further they have full control not only of kod management but our fate as well, we hope that interests of management and locals holding shares will convince Sc to offer descent price for the mine when it is ready, current market price for similar company in Europe is equivalent to 0.62p for kod shares, so I guess there still room for share holders to make a profit. when all is in order and mining licence is ready we have to face the facts:
if kod is profitable to mine then we should see a move.
if it is not then that is it.

because kod is heavily discounted, there is always the hope of higher sp. similar to kod company in Europe is worth 50m kod as it stands today is only 6.5m amazing price.

there must be day traders buying in the morning and selling in the afternoon even at a loss, they sell because they use the bank trading allowance to pay for the shares, but they must return it before close as they don't have enough cash to hold for longer periods. other wise the bank will discover the negative balance and suspend the trading account. I used to do this silly things myself.

suppose kod announced the fund raise for all PIs, the price would have dropped considerably before any cash is committed.
convincing all these people to invest at this stage is very significant, not only in believing in the future of this company, but insure commitment to achieving the next big target awaiting, especially the local ones.
after 2 to 3 months we would have a clear path towards production. the next step I guess it will be the takeover of the whole project, as there is no way kod will be able to raise 70m from this lot of today.
I know it is at discount but it is better than publishing a need for cash injection from PIs.
they are finally positioning themselves to get a share of the last move. The fact that Suay Chin is still contributing to fund is positive, they are quite sure of the reward ahead.

oldskool, your place is in the church, or hang on , but which religion, there are many ethical systems including secular ethics. what tungsten has to do with KSA or Yemen or any other decision maker, tungsten is just tungsten, you can use it in jet engines to take people to holidays, or tools to make cars and buses. Even gold looks great but it could be used to kill as well.
so be honest and keep the debate to.. I don't think you are an investor may be thinking to buy in the morning from some confused fellow, Is this why you are post? using false debate to confuse fellow investors?? this is not ethical as well. or if it is going to generate some profit at the expense of others making loss it is OK.

I thought we are comparing Kamoa with west Lunga not cheyeza east!!!

the Chinese average price after buying at 0.38p then at 0.13p is now stands at 0.32p.
comparing kod with a similar company in Europe 'sav' which at the moment stands at 50 m cap.
sav has the same lithium tonnage as kod. so 50m/8m = 6.2 times
that is a price of 0.62p for kod will still look profitable for the Chinese I guess.
this is the price of the asset in the ground, production will make the price much larger.

spot on mogwhy, what matters is:
WRES is in main land Europe, and it has customers to take the load.
it is going to be profitable by a margin, if it is not already producing what covers its expenses.
its sp is going to grow to reflect that level of profitability.

Fore more detailed analysis,
The main producers of Tungsten are China 80%, then Russia, the rest of the world contribute the last 10%
The main consumers are drilling tools from dentists to petrol and mining exploration.
Both mining and Petrol exploration at the lowest level of expenditure for years, hence the major drop in demand
The other consumers are mechanical parts .
It is all related to petrol demand, prices and level of demand on tooling.
I can't see any other factor related to drop in demand due to change of technology, so quite confident it will pick up pace again to higher than what it was few years back.

tungsten as other metals is subject to business cycle ups and downs, at the moment demand is weak mainly due to trade war between US and other countries, tungsten is an added alloy to most working tools and high friction mechanical parts, the demand will pick up and with it the price again. companies build their expectations on average demand through a long period not one month or two.
