SkinBioTherapeutics (LON: SBTX) launched the AxisBiotix-Ps food supplement in the UK and US on 29 October. This psoriasis treatment is the company’s first commercial product, and it could generate cash to further develop other products.

The AIM-quoted microbiome-based skin treatments developer launched the AxisBiotix-Ps food supplement on World Psoriasis Day. The company is selling the sachets directly.

beinthelead, it is not a rubbish statement for someone who is in the position of having to make a choice between putting on the heating or bread on the table. However, as has been pointed out by elrico previously, the US NPF has several million paid up members and just one percent of that number with disposable income electing to subscribe will be a game changer for this company so the price is unlikely to put off those potential customers from trying the product

jimmy, because of the extra months supply on the first order the cost is actually half the figures you state, which for someone who has struggled with psoriasis and found nothing else to satisfactorily treat it I would suggest is more than reasonably priced.

belgrano, I wont bore you with the finer points of third normal form when designing a database, but I would be astonished if the company is using a different ordering number sequence for the US as opposed to the UK as it introduces unnecessary complexity. However, we both agree about the confidence that the company will sell significant quantities of the axisbiotix product as I believe the same applies to Opti's lpldl and slimbiome, it's all a question of timescales

Sounds eminently sensible Chris although worth noting with a Market Cap of £107M the company is already priced as though both your suggested kpi's have already been met hence my cautionary note about emotional response to share price dips

belgrano, I always find it strange when a LTH and already big holder of the shares in a company at much lower prices than today, feels the need to buy more on a dip that was still well above the price you could have picked up the shares for just a week or so ago. Like you, I am a LTH but have not felt the need or urge to add to a stock in an already unbalanced portfolio, in fact further unbalancing my portfolio would not be a financially prudent thing for me to do, after all we all knew the launch date would be met weeks ago, there is no evidence of massive pre-launch sales, but we all retain the faith sales will steadily build up post launch and of course there is the safety net of Croda. So the dip is a good opportunity for new investors to buy but surely not a wise move for already large holders at much lower levels?

belgrano, quick question, you keep talking about the orders in the "90s " pre-launch whilst the order numbers allocated indicated 1090 etc, are you assuming that the first digit represents the year "01" and do you know for a fact that is how the order number sequence has been constructed because the Opti order sequence is not year specific and represents the total orders for the year in full?
