RE: Placings vs. Warrants vs. Cash to hand16 Sep 2020 14:15
Cash & cashflow is king for a Junior Explorer with bills to pay and BOD / shareholder aspirations to meet. GWMO has no revenue so raises cash via share Placing with its broker Novum and usually issues warrants with a variety of strike prices promising in-effect additional future cash to the BOD if the remains above the warrant strike price and the warrant owner decides to exercise the warrants! The placing and warrants strike price paints a good picture of Broker Novum sentiment vs. GWMO BOD credibility so raising cash between a 20/25% discount to current SP is to be expected for a Junior with few tangible assets other than the prospective licences with no JORC compliant resources.
Placings of new BOD under new strategy since 13-Nov-2019 raised £1,372.5k as reported via RNS. A SP figures use prior day close figure rather than SP after RNS announcement on the day.
16-Jul-20 Raised £450k at 0.1p vs. current SP 0.13 (23% discount) Olympic Gold surveys & 2x other project costs
27-May-20 Raised £217.5k at 0.1p vs. current SP 0.125 (20% discount) for 2020 work programme & Olympic Gold
27-May-20 Raised £15k at 0.1075p vs. current SP 0.125 (14% discount) for fees et al
20-Feb-20 Raised £320k at 0.11p vs. current SP 0.155 (29% discount) for buy Nevada tenement & 3x other project costs
29-Jan-20 Raised £14k at 0.1p vs. current SP 0.1075 (2% premium) for creditor payment
13-Nov-19 Raised £300k at 0.08p vs. current SP 0.17 (53% discount) for Nevada and expenses
13-Nov-19 Raised £56k at 0.08p vs. current SP 0.17 (53% discount) for fees et al
Last prior £1m placing of 3-Jul-2018 has been excluded for purposes of above calculation as prior BOD & associated Strategy.
Outstanding warrants total £1,110.7k nominal cash to BOD if exercised as no RNS reporting ‘Exercise of Warrants’ is listed after 3-Jul-2018 warrants were issued. As of 15-Sept-20 £1,077k of warrants are now ‘In the Money’ and could presumably be exercised as long as the SP remains above 0.2p.
All IMHO and please DYOR
