What's more . . . no one can check the figures and claims bandied about by the Duracell Bore the last couple of days because, coincidentally, the threads are all gone.

After making a complete clown of him/her/itself over the weekend (with literally thousands of words in dozens of posts) miraculously this morning, two full days of its posting history has disappeared into thin air, yet again. (Check its history). Taking with it the many posts by other folks who posted in good faith. Hence nothing to refer to if anyone wants to pull him/her/it up on its claims. How convenient.

The entire thread with the above title, has been removed in the last hour. Then . . .

Seriously, the long haul is almost over. We have fought the good fight (obviously, the city wide boys and some FUD wranglers will alway hang around . . . like a wannabenonce at a train station loo) but we are on the home straight. To the victor go the spoils. Carpe diem. Strength and honour . . . and all that jazz . . .

Energyshares, excellent point. These guys are smart. They have vision. They have ambition. They are capable. They know how to calculate risk. They understand the way the big boys play . . . they have a good idea what is probably coming. So it is hard to imagine that they dont also have a back up plan lined up too. Something to move over to for their next adventure, with a humungous wad on their hip. Dr A didnt scoop up the Affimer IP 14 (?) years ago because he didnt have vision.

I am not saying it will happen that way but yesterdays deal put all manner of bets firmly on the table.

An astute comment Bella. Personally, from what I have seen of the 'markets' over the years, I am prepared to believe that every party who has input into the process, from brokers, to MM's, to II's . . . are all (not all individuals necessarily but all parties) capable and willing to work a little number here and there to hedge their interests, gain an advantage and cover their tracks . . . operating in the spaces between the 'rules' that allow a little manoeuvre. All impossible to prove. Sometimes, on a grand scale. Always, with the small PI picking up the tab.

Personally, as I and others have said here, after Avacta has delivered (what I hope and expect they will deliver) I am going seriously re-think my interest in AIM listed companies.

I think in Avacta we have happened upon a little gem. They are as rare as rocking horse doodaa. IMO they will come good because what they have is exceptional, what they do is professional and what they stand to achieve is going to be earth moving and lucrative in equal measure. So feck the Jupiters, the MM's, the Fudders and the fools. They will still be working their sordid little scams when we are all sunning ourselves in Whitby.

Wynnie Corbett, the Duracell Bore, used speech marks as quotation marks, around the word "battles" as if quoting from my post. I did not use that word. This is a typical Wynbore tactic, twist and manipulate what others post, to the point of being dishonest.

D-Geemanky saw my use of speech marks around the word "brainy" but failed to realise I was being ironic. Which is pretty funny really . . . I know he is not brainy, he just thinks he is, but comes across as smug and smarmy.

Anyway, the games these two intellectual and moral lightweights play will become evident soon enough. And the next thing . . . when called out, they feign victim-hood and claim they are being bullied. All so predictable.

For those of you who dont know Wyndrum (the Duracell Bore) he/she/it is a famous trading guru who makes loads of money trading AIM shares and gives freely of his/her/its time to hand out sermons, advice, discussions . . . well, just free knowledge really and all in the form of easy to digest 200-300 word essays . . . usually signalling whether he/she/it is in or out of a trade. A truly valuable addition to any BB.

Only joking . . its a monstrously boring, attention seeking, know-it-all bore who once on a BB is likelt stick like sh"t to a stick. Read its posting history and weep or more likely, fall asleep.

Oh and lets not forget the partner in grime, the other half of this icky little posting Tag Team . . . D-Geemanky. The smug, smarmy, passive aggressive "brains" of the outfit.

I would invite folks to read my posting history to witness the battles I (and numerous other posters on the AVCT and other BBs) but it is pointless. Most exchanges no longer exist because if you get into a BB tussle with them, it is just a matter of time before the whole thread gets wiped.

Apart from that . . . a couple of great guys or gals or whatevers . . .

Robin, let me guess. You bought in to Avacta at around the time you opened this LSE account. You got caught up in the hype. You are now spiked at or close to all time highs. And you are bitter.

Plenty of use bought at higher prices than these. Its tough but that's life. We make our own decisions.

If what I am suggesting is correct, take it on the chin. Whinging from the sidelines is for the weak and simple minded.

I respect your views, though I reserve the right to suggest they are a little naive in their simplicity; some, trolls etc are just not going away . . . ever . . . Some visit from time to time. All do their damage in their own way. They are a permanent feature of social media.

What I do not respect, however, is the assertion by your good self or anyone, that they can or should attempt to tell others what they can or cannot post and to whom.

I have posted to this effect previously. If you want Oxford Union style debate . . . contact the Oxford Union. If you want to participate in 'discussion' on free BB, with all and sundry, then accept that from time to time you will read things you would prefer not to read, possibly written by people you consider to be "dumb" and that they have the same right as you to post their posts.

It's just a free BB . . . calm down.

Sorry old chap, but I disagree with your premise. I'll try to keep this brief, so as not to clog your own personal BB up and so as not to appear "dumb", at least by your high intellectual standards.

If you filter someone, it means that you and only you, can not see their posts. Their posts still exist and are read by the vast majority of visitors to the BB. Filtering serves no other purpose than to satisfy the filterer (though I accept for some folks it is their preferred method, for their own reasons). But if everyone did that, we would leave the field open "to any 'troll/agent provocateur/wind up merchant' still loitering", to cause as much negative damage as they can. Personally, from time to time, I prefer to challenge them and defend my investment. You are free to choose your method too.

And BTW this is a free to access, social media platform. Anyone can post whatever they wish . . . even the half wits. Even you . . . even little dumb me. Suggesting that you, or any other BB crusader, should dictate the agenda is not only contrary to the ethos of freedom of expression (with the obvious caveats) that social media is premised on, it is also self-centred and delusional.

What I am thinking is that the RNS said the Company will make its own announcement on the ruling. What if that contains more good news, or simply, this now clears the decks to advance . . . contracts, TT's etc . . .that have been pending the hearing outcome.

HDTY, thanks for your thoughts on this. Not an unreasonable set of assumptions . . . no promises . . . but who knows.

One thing that caught my eye, on the question of tech transfers. Avacta (yes, I am a holder there too) famously let ABDX down with the tech transfer malarkey back along. Water under the bridge now in my view. However, in AVCTs last RNS (29 Sep 22, Interims to 30 Jun 22) there is a substantial and positive reference to their Diagnostics Divisions` ongoing development of a range of LFTs, prime amongst them, the Affidx Covid LFT. I am sure I recall reading a reference in it to a "re-launch". No names, no pack drill, no dates, no details. But here is the point, I believe, . . . if AVCT re-launch their LFT (In time for this winters Covid surge?) then I find it hard to credit that the tech transfer left dangling at ABDX would not be given a new lease of life. I would struggle to see them going elsewhere if that LFT finally goes back into production. Which AVCT appear confident it will.

I know this is a loose analysis with nothing but hopeful deduction to support it. But I think it ties in to what you were saying in your earlier post. As for the timeline you are mulling, of course that is speculation too but not completely beyond the realms of credibility.

November is not that far away so we will find out soon.
