PAH00, good post. It has been alluded to many times on this BB, and your post brings it into focus again, that we need to appreciate the bigger picture.

There are way too many lifestyle companies on AIM, run by money grubbing incompetents with their eye on the main chance .

Avacta have proven themselves to be different. AS has shown himself to be a man of vision and rare ability, with a similarly gifted team. He has said he wants Avacta to be the next Roche (or similar), if that isn't big picture thinking I don't know what is. But he and the team have methodically put in place the stages of development to reach that goal; from acquiring/developing unique IP, strategically smart raises of substantial sums to fund acquisition and growth, painstaking adherence to the execution and integrity of a first class trial, recruitment of top tier individuals with relevant experience and ambition . . . etc etc.

If folks can't or won't take the time to do a little reading (Christ! All the research has been done for us by a handful of smart and generous posters on this BB) then more fool them. Let them sell, let them whinge, let them FUD spam in ignorance, let them be 'concerned'. I say forget them or ridicule them.

In my (not so) humble opinion, I do not think I will see another opportunity like this in my lifetime. I have watched AS's bigger picture slowly but surely coming into clean, sharp focus. I believe that when the final, complete picture is revealed, it will be so dazzling that people will struggle to look at it and see it for what it is. It's too much for small minded people to get their heads around. And to think . . . it may be revealed in a few short days or weeks . . .

So now it seems the monies are coming from the "registrar', not the "issuing company". If they are one and the same, why do they have two names, I wonder. Oh wait . . . maybe HL are making it up as they go along . . . no, say it ain't so . . .

I do not doubt your sincerity (this is not a pop at you but at HL) but after spending a week wrangling with HL on another issue, I am curious as to what they mean when they say, "We're waiting to be sent the cash by the issuing company".

Who do they mean when they say "issuing company"? If they mean CREST, then why would they not say CREST. If they meant CREST, then we could ask, why are CREST holding monies for transactions which did not occur (i.e. OO shares over and above the allocation). If they mean Avacta, why would Avacta have told enquirers that they do not hold the money?

If they wanted to give an answer which denies responsibility, obfuscates the matter further, fails to give any specific information and buys them more time . . . then I don't think they could do worse that blame the "issuing company" . . . whoever they are.

Getting the money up front is not the issue.

The issue is, taking "7 to 10 days" to return it . . . an electronic calculation that takes seconds. HL are simply holding it and could pay it in an instant if they chose. They choose not to. Why? Because they have a couple of £mil (?) of free cash from hapless PI's on deposit, making interest every day. They are choosing to keep PI's waiting because they are making money at the PI's expense. It is naive to imagine otherwise.

Personally, rather than request a massive amount over my allocation in the OO (I asked for a modest mark up and got a fair chunk of it) I split my available cash and bought a chunk on the open market to sort of hedge my bet. So far, so good.

Still, as soon as HL remove the huge amount of dosh left with them by PI's from their deposit account . . . where they are currently, presumably, earning interest on our money . . . I will be buying more.

DTW, congrats on the top up and I agree with your analysis re. SP.

May I ask, did you top up with 'other' allocated funds or, from cash returned by your broker for the un-bought shares over and above your allocation? If so, who is your broker?

I am with HL and still waiting to have my 'excess' cash returned so that I can spend it all on Avacta shares. What else would I spend it on . . . current SP is a steal.

One small point. Nothing about my posting to you is intended to make me appear "superior". I don't need to do that, I am stable, secure and self-confident. Your reaction to others' comments show that you are not. Hence exchanges like this.

Personaly, the money is already earmarked for Avacta shares and that is what it will be spent on. Even at this price they are a steal (IMO).

I think and hope that more than 25% sticks. 25% of 13.4 is circa £3.3 million. Today in the first hour of trading around £250k worth of shares were bought. Go figure . . . I am looking forward to tomorrow.

Easy to surmise that Wyndrum, the Duracell Bore, is either deliberately posting antagonistic, disruptive tripe or is very seriously intellectually challenged. I personally believe it is a combination of the two.

But no matter.

The most salient question is, what kind of brain dead moron ticks up his/her/its posts? If you are ticking up these posts, then seek help. (And Iam not even joking.). His/her/its posts are a mixture of confused notions and downright lies. ticking up this garbage marks you as a fellow brain dead disruptor.

Exceptions to this suggestion are of course, Wyndrums icky little TAG Team partner, D-Geemanky and their part time lap dog Derek the Toucan, because twisted personalities like that will never stop, no matter how much they know that what they do is wrong.
