Would be good if someone could clarify. Looks like the Sheikh has 11% shares and these give him 11% voting rights. He then has an additional 14% voting rights due to financial instruments. So Shareholding is still 11% but 24% voting rights. How does that work?

I want this share to rise like many others on here. However, so far there hasn't been a single credible leak from newspapers. All articles being quoted are old ones. Shockingly so were some supposed pictures of the signing today.

Either it is all being released to media tomorrow or the signing has been postponed for whatever reason. For many on here, it isn't the question of funding, we're all waiting to hear about the signing of the agreement that makes it all official.

So will switch off now and check at 7am if there is any update. That is the only credible route.

Starbuck - all very sensible points with the exception of one thing. Funding should not be an issue given Chinese involvement. China is going hell for leather in doing joint projects in Pakistan, Sri Lanka, East Africa. Investing in foreign infrastructure is a key plank of their foreign strategy to build strategic strongholds.

Trades made at 8:40am today for 1.6. By 8:45am it had fallen to 1.45. That makes this huge trade a sell imho. Without that the sp could gone through the roof. Personally i don't think it was a bad thing as it cools down the sp a bit. And if it was a PI selling to bank a profit, why not. SP will do the talking on Monday.

That doesn't make sense. If that was a buy then SP would have climbed further and not drifted low eventually

Totally agree with you Andrew. People don't have to respond if they don't want to. Instead of a reasonable discussion board, this is now a bullying board. I have seen this behaviour before - constant bombardment of discussion board with 'information' and then other users assume this person is very knowledgeable. And if you dare ask questions, God help you.
