I suspect Hendersons selling into that rise after the EOY RNS and they will probably continue to do so. They do have a habit of doing this and I can't see the the SP moving too much until their overhang is gone. They are also in my experience extremely bad at reporting the holdings changes in a timely fashion as is required of them. So I think later rather that sooner we will get a holdings RNS. Apart from that, an extremely encouraging and positive EOY report and final figures but not much we didn't already know. They show that over the past year solid foundations have been laid for the company to fulfill the potential it always had. I expect with the new acquisition we will see increased organic growth over the coming year, and it also seems clear that further acquisitions are on the way. This may well mean more fundraising but, if it is the same vein as the last acquisition, it will add significant value. GLA

Miss G - I think most people would have bitten your arm off at the elbow if offered the present situation this time last year. Sp seems to have found decent support above 1.5p and maybe board members in the EMI scheme will qualify for their first 15% in a couple of months. An observation on Hendersons though - in my experience they are not long term holders and will bail as soon as they see fit.

Very positive statements from Mark Braund and for me now it is just a matter time before this great little company Redstone achieves its potential. I agree about losing the COMS name and no need to find another name as Redstone is what all our customers know us by anyway and it has a great reputation: "The customer satisfaction at Redstone has been the highest of any employer I've worked with and that is a great foundation on which we can now build." The comments that indicate to me that the coming months could be very exciting are: "Yes, we're going to be acquisitive, but I want to make one thing clear: we have a strategy and any acquisition will either accelerate the pace at which we achieve our strategy or will be earnings-enhancing." and: "We have customers in the banking sector that give us terrific referenceability and terrific scope to expand far beyond what we are doing today. We are not here to stay the same size and we want to grow." He's laying his strategy out for us and I would not bet against him achieving it.GLA

I disagree with that sentiment Stonebroke. This is obviously a significant existing client for us in the City; a client that is happy enough with the services we are providing for them to offer us a further £3/4m contract of great importance. That is a ringing endorsement of our business that will give us further exposure in the sector and hopefully give confidence to new clients to come on board.; something a contract win with a new customer wouldn't necessarily do. Also as Plantravel states it is significant for the cutting edge products we are providing - not its value - hence the RNS. I'm not sure the current board would of considered a standard contract win of that value significant enough to inform the market - and thankfully the days of 75k contract win fanfares are behind us!

I'm pretty certain the conditions have not been met yet for any director to have been granted any options anyway, secondly the market has to be informed of any director dealings - unless you are DB of course. So all in all a pretty odd question

You may be right about a placing but as long as it adds value and potential to the company in order to expand and increase market share there is nothing wrong with that. I get the impression the sales book is full and there is a great deal of optimism from the BoD for the future.

Put in context with this time last year that is a bit of an understatement

No later than July 31st. They took all of that last year but then they had an unholy mess to sort out. I'd hope they'll be keener this year - May/June maybe?

Director dealing after the year end and before to the closed period 2 months prior to the publication of EOY figures is generally a very good indication of the BoD's view of the status of the company. Though relatively modest I'm greatly encouraged by these DDs today.

If you say so - I'm sure you know best. It is only occasionally necessary and I would explain why and when has proved very useful in the past, but its way o/t and this board already has little enough discussion about the company as it is. I'll leave you to it ATB
