That is a strawman counter. You seem to have clearly missed the point. Who said anything about not having empathy with his situation, or yours for that matter. My comment only reflects my opinion that personal matters and business ones should be kept separate. That is what I would expect from any CEO.

What I don't understand is why he linked both his old and new personal accounts to the company. I stopped following it because he was filling my timeline up with David Lammy retweets and comments on Putin, Russia and the Ukraine. Everyone's entitled to their opinion, but if you are the CEO of a company and you insist on associating your social media presence with your company, then the professional thing to do would be to keep comments business oriented. Political leanings and personal agendas are of little or no interest to investors and many could find it off putting. All imo of course.

How are people supposed to buy if others don't sell? Everybody should look at taking profit at some stage and as some sell others will come on board; this has to happen for the SP to make progress. We tested 5p and pulled back; hopefully it will consolidate before it moves again and if the good news keeps coming we won't have to wait long. GLA

There is a lack of liquidity here and so it can move on small amounts traded - up or down - look at the volume and the spread. The demonstrations will hopefully raise the profile and generate interest in the markets and a demand for stock. The general uneasiness at the moment of course doesn't help , but it will not be an issue if all goes to to plan imo. GLA

hku - I think your view is overly cautious, but taken in context of the market we're in and possibly previous experience, understandable. The focus here should be on what has been achieved so far and the potential going forward, not on insecurity surrounding near term SP movement. I believe this stock will soon move out the the realm of the twitterati and fickle aim punter; fractions of a penny here and there will be irrelevant. A few salient points - though not wishing to state the obvious: The technology is proven and unique - no other similar product can utilise the diverse feed-stock CS can. Existing power plants have no need to expensively retrofit. We have built and tested the first commercial production plant. It is easily transported anywhere, opening up incredibly diverse supply opportunities. CS's positive environmental and performance attributes will surely create massive interest; there is a great need and demand for such a product. Our first high profile customer is already on board and the potential market is huge. We are about to advertise our company and product on a global scale - potential feed-stock providers, product customers and financiers will all be be enlightened this week. Near term news flow could be transformational - but even if this does not immediately attract the herd - deals will take time of course- I believe it is a tremendous opportunity for investors going long. There are always risks in every investment but I'd like to think that there is very little standing in the way of this being one of the best performing stocks over the coming year and beyond. GLA

Yep - he did drop some massive hints towards exciting developments throughout the interview - potential here is quite something I believe.

Despite the seller stock was quite hard to come by today. Increased my position and looking forward to seeing how this company and it's very interesting technology develops over the coming months. They have made no offer. The CEO of AP has just declared his REDS stock as is required - and he's built a considerable holding so far!! He'll need a bit more than that me thinks. Close have increased to over 5% and still not listed on the website, and if the website figures are to be believed, J O Hambro have sold a few, though they have not notified. I have a feeling this will just peter out, though there does appear to be some price movement today.

This is the most basic definition I've found : Forms 8.3 and 8.5 are disclosure forms required by the Takeover Panel to clarify material interests in the share register of a UK-listed company that is in a bid situation. Any person or institution that has an interest of more than 1% of the share capital of a company in a bid situation (on both sides of the transaction) must disclose any dealings in those shares and their resultant position. Form 8.3 should be completed by the shareholder to clarify what they have bought or sold and the resultant size of their stake. Form 8.5, meanwhile, should be completed by any principal trader(CFE in our case) that has dealt in the shares. These disclosure forms are required as part of the Takeover Code which aims to ensure an orderly framework within which takeovers can be conducted fairly and appropriately. Tom is almost certainly correct when thinking this is a stalking horse situation. A P may have made the offer but I still struggle to take them seriously and it is likely to have been done on behalf of someone else who wants to test the water, see who holds what stock, but doesn't want it known that they are the interested party. imo

Further to the announcement made by the Company on 29 September 2017 in response to the possible offer announcement by A P Systems Holdings Ltd ("A P Systems"), the Board of RedstoneConnect confirms its first receipt of letters from A P Systems Holdings Ltd ("A P Systems") on 3 October 2017 and 4 October 2017 respectively (the "Letters"). The Letters request the opening of a dialogue between A P Systems and the Company but they do not contain a value for the Company and nor do they provide details of any potential offer for the Company. The Board has considered the Letters, together with its financial adviser Cantor Fitzgerald Europe. The Letters contain insufficient detail to enable the Board to consider them further and therefore it considers that there is no basis upon which to engage in discussions. The Board has informed A P Systems of its conclusion. Shareholders of RedstoneConnect should take no further action.

As understand it as soon as the A P announced the possible offer we entered the offer period. From the regs: 'An offer period will commence when the first announcement is made of an offer or possible offer for a company, or when certain other announcements are made, such as an announcement that a purchaser is being sought for an interest in shares carrying 30% or more of the voting rights of the company or that the board of the company is seeking potential offerors.'

J O Hambro declared today and seem to have added a bit; just waiting on Herald now of the known ones. I believe any 1%ers have till Monday next week to declare. Also I see they changed the figure of MBs holding on the website now - they could have added Close's holding at the same time now they've been made aware

Thanks for pointing that out as it made me go back through all the RNS between the two dates. It wasn't part of his package though, it was mentioned in the placing RNS for ConnectIB that he had subscribed for the stock and not as a specific director dealing update.

I noticed a similar issue last year with this PDMR reporting. In January he was listed as having 10,638,888. The next PDMR showed him as buying 270,000 but his total had gone to 14,485,316 and I could not find any mention of the other other 3.5 million. Very poor I think. They just don't seem to understand how important it is to get this stuff right, particularly considering the history here.

At least if nothing else we are finding out who holds stock. I don't recall Close Asset management declaring before and now they pop up with 4.3% stating they only held that position since today??

They have simply been forced to disclose their position as, even if the REDS board are not taking the offer seriously or are not even acknowledging it exists, the takeover panel are http://bit.ly/2fYX9GD As Slater's holding is under 3% they would normally not have to do this but clearly they're taking it seriously too. Again as this Form 8.3 appears in our feed here it gives the impression it's coming from REDS and that they are aware. An approach could be anything I guess - an email to MB - maybe he should check his inbox or junk folder. However serious the 'possible offer' turns out to be, and I still maintain that it all looks a little spurious, the statement given by the company this morning is pretty categorical and they need to clarify further what the situation actually is before getting egg on their faces.

Although Tom he does also have a tech company Vitrx Ltd apparently doing the same thing, which has a similarly dysfunctional website with several of the same features...

I don't think it helps that this site put the first announcement in REDS' RNS feed as it did not come from them. This implied initially that they were aware, whereas now they evidently were not.
