Bloody hell .... this is ridiculous..... either one of their wells is on fire and we don't know it or it's time to call in the FCA on the share price manipulation that's going on here. Not that the FCA would actually do anything of course.

Don't forget that the current price of oil means it's easier for Tullow to hedge future production and at a better price. Also , can't recall the future hedging percentages required by Moody's, but it's one of their conditions for an upgrade of Tullow.

Munyes said the government and partners are committed to getting enough oil in Turkana for commercialisation.

“We are trying to look for funds for the construction of the pipeline and soon we will get a partner to build the pipeline from Turkana to Lamu with all accessories to transport oil.”

Sometimes I really think you're on drugs. I've never owned an Enquest share in my life and have never posted on the Enquest board.

The simple fact is I'm free to post my opinion and comments just like you are. If you don't like them or they annoy you please feel free to filter me.

I will however give you some advice. You're clearly bitter as I assume you've a very long term holder who has made a significant loss investing in Tullow. Unfortunate as it is, you need to let go and come to terms with it rather than letting it define you. Hopefully one day in the future you will recoup your losses.

You know, one time we had our share price bombed for 12 hours. When it was all over, I topped up. We didn’t find one of ’em, not one stinkin’ . . . short. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole oil market. Smelled like victory.

In fact wouldn't surprise me if we finish blue today....

You need to look at the market in general at the moment, rather than the price of oil. This not Tullow specific. Last year when the market had a wobble we dropped 5 to 10% every bad day. The fact we're only down 1% shows things are now very different for Tullow now.

I also queried the 1.27% with the FCA on the 30th of September and also haven't got a response back. Seems the FCA is fast asleep. I guess now we know why the market is so manipulated.

You just got to remind yourself that we were 40p on 10th of September. So that's a rise of over 30% in a month. Granted you didn't buy all your shares at 40p, however if we're 60p by the end of the month and 70p by the end of November that's almost a 100% rise in 3 months. My random numbers aside, we must be due an announcement on Kenya any day now, which if positive could easily add 20% plus in a few minutes. Patience is the key ... hold if you can afford too.

Another short over 0.5% reported on Friday last week. This isn't you Shawz is it ..... lol

My guess is they figure now we're at $80 oil, when oil drops the share price will drop. Seems they don't understand what a bright and prosperous future Tullow has. I'd love to see the panic on the shorters faces when the Kenya RNS drops.

I think the US lost most of its sway when they elected a senile old fool as president. They are not feared or respected anymore, so think behind the scenes that OPEC are not too concerned if the US thinks the oil price is too high.

There's now 3 months to go to the end of the year. With each passing day the likelyhood of a Kenya RNS gets stronger and stronger. Perhaps it will be announced at the Tullow Investor Webinar on the 21st October or perhaps during Africa Oil Week in early November. Exciting times ahead ..... GLA

It's a bloodbath out there for a lot of shares today, so I'll be happy with anything over 50p.

They told me to drop them an email, so I've done that and will see what they come back with.

Actually, looking at the FCA website in the spreadsheet, there is no historic disclosure for the Pictet Asset Management S.A. 1.27%. So does look like an error. I'm trying their online chat to see what they say.
