This old dog wagged it's tail today..... one thing is becoming clearer and clearer...... unless one of their wells explodes, 40p is rock bottom for Tullow. Everytime it hits the very low 40's, if you can afford to, you should top up!

This bloody government caused all this with OmniCON .... pure smokescreen to get all the negative headlines about their second jobs, dinghies full of illegals drowning in the channel, Peppa Pig World off the front pages and to sneak through all kinds of dodgy legislation. Boris Johnson is a cross between Mugabe and Kim Jong-Il and we're turning more and more into a tin pot dictatorship everyday. If anyone ever votes for them they need their head read. And before you say it.....Labour are even worse than useless too, so if you vote for them the same applies. This country needs change and a government that looks out for it's people, not their own self interests.

Rant over .... on the plus side we're still above 40p and still think by the time 2021 results are published we'll all be laughing.

In the past week the shorters have lost 10% and are about to lose a whole lot more unless they close!

Everyone is a little fatigued I think .... been a rough few months with the ridiculous drop in share price while oil at this price. I guess it's what the MM's and shorters want. Drive everyone to despair so they sell and then they can step in and do their thing.

I get the feeling we're in a similar to pattern to March last year, where all stocks tanked with people thinking the world's coming to an end and then a fast recovery a month or two later. However, I don't think we'll see any major increases until the new year now, given it's nearly Christmas already. Going to get really interesting once the oil companies start publishing 2021 results.

Again another person with "no investment" in Tullow who suddenly feels the need to "warn" us about how bad things are for Tullow. Yawn......

Biden can tell the sheep he's helped reduce the oil price and is in charge of things. OPEC has kept the US happy by maintaining the production increases and let Biden have his political "win". In the mean time the average Joe won't see any difference to the price of gas at the pump and we're back to over $70 oil the very next day. Time for us to get back to over 50p and start that journey up to £1. Come on Tullow.....

I'm also starting to think that oil is not going to go below $70 a barrel anytime soon. Plus as it's now the 1st of December with only 31 days left in the year, and with current hedges, whatever happens to the oil price in December will have very little impact on Tullows end of year results.

What is really going to be interesting is to see if shorts are brave enough to increase their position and if Tullow will drop below 40p. Personally I think neither of those are going to happen, however I hope the shorts do increase as would like to see them get burnt when this takes off again.

The US are threatening to release more oil from the strategic reserves to try reduce the price at the pumps. Thing is that even if the price of oil does drop the price at the pumps doesn't. It merely stops going up or drops a tiny fraction at best. Anyone remember the price of petrol halving last year when oil tanked or at any other time when oil has tanked .... didn't think so. Then of course no one is scared of Biden and if tries it on they will push back. Also, all those millions of barrels of oil being released will need to be replaced in the near future.

What are the facts JMAX..... Tullow is not going bust, Tullow should make a profit in 2021 after a $1.2B loss in 2020, Oil is over $70, 75% of production is hedged and if oil dropped to $0 a barrel Tullow would still probably survive because of this. Every time you hear the word hedge or anything positive you feel the need to post sometime regarding the downside. I think you're not a my glass is half empty kind of guy but more of a my glass is empty and probably going to explode in my face kind of guy. Either that or you just a shorter trying to peddle your agenda.

Never once claimed to understand how it works. But I honestly think what I say regarding sentiment has a large degree of truth. The stock market and financial markets have become a casino driven by trends and sentiment. Basically a pyramid scheme where if you get in at the right time you make a killing and get in too late you loseyour shirt. Take metro bank recently .... goes up 50% on a potential take over and all the lemmings who got in late are now sitting on a big loss. Of course don't forget that when it was the flavour of the month it was over £30 a share and is now less than £1. Also take digital currencies as an example.... just a bit of electricity and people pay thousands for them without being able to really do anything with them, except one day hopefully sell them at a profit if they happen to pick the right one.

And the fear and panic was caused by a government interested in getting sleeze, Peppa Pig and an invasion of boat people of off the front page of every newspaper in the county....

For me it's simple... why buy a stock if you're not going to ramp it, promote it at every opportunity and belive in it. Ultimately the reason you buy a stock is to make money and you don't do that by the company paying you a 0.5p dividend once a year. So the only way you'll make money is if more people want to buy the stock and demand increases. That is never going to happen if there is negative sentiment.
