As many have said much better interview and seems better at Q&A’s than presentations. Also I find Andrew Scott very good in these interviews.
One other thing to take from this is SD clearly took notice of our criticism of the last interview and rushed to provide a very informative Q&A.
Although I would be happy with a takeover at the right price I would also like to see something defensive to prevent a low ball offer given the share drop of late.

Sadly, as we know, Aim needs constant news flow and strong leadership. SD may well prove an asset but the market will punish any weakness.

Strange that nobody thought to ask when we may expect results from our latest drilling campaign. Sad to say it’s something that GH would have volunteered.

I for one would like him to say what he thinks for a change, Nothing wrong in him sharing his cautious opinion. Gh was always giving us his view albeit with the necessary caveats.
He definitely needs to show more empathy about the drop in share price.

Yes to be fair it was not all under SD watch, I stand corrected as it was just under 26p when he started. However the market was shocked when GH announced he was leaving in the December prior to the Scally results. So to it was a combination of many things.
My criticism isn’t of how he is running the company but more about how he communicates

I would say that the share price is 100% SD’s problem seeing as it has halved on his watch. All this on top of improving fundamentals and if it’s not his priority then it should be. At least GH used to communicate frequently to try and allay any fears where as SD seems uninterested and probably more aligned to the institutions rather than the Pi.

I think the honeymoon is over and he needs to step up his game and at least try and protect the share price. The lower this goes the more chance of low takeover price especially as there seems no sign of the bottom yet.
None of us know what’s going on, except we keep finding more gold and yet the share price keeps going further down. We desperately need some positive news to reverse the drop. The PFS and resource update can’t come soon enough!

Just out of curiosity, assuming you already have some shares, does it allow you to sell?

I only read the Rns and didn’t see the accompanying presentation, but on reading it I feel more positive especially the divi near term comment.

Especially as the pension funds are under massive pressure to drop oil companies making them less attractive. Hopefully the decline in investment in the oil industry will offset this to keep prices high as we move over to other sources of energy. Still plenty of money to be made if they pull their finger out.

As you say though all oil companies need to diversify sooner or later.

Have to agree SK, I thought they would have looked to put out a better update or at least have put the spin on it. All any of us want is the share price to rise especially considering how much poo has gone up. As others have said it won’t until the creditors have finished dumping

Pearls, hope your right. My biggest concern is that we are run by private equity company and as of yet we do not know their intentions for the future. If they plan to build a large sustainable company then all is good, however private equity companies aren’t known for their love of shareholders. In fact their usual M.O is to to extract money from companies.
Too early to say what will happen here

Since the takeover/merger this is behaving much the same as the old PM0. We have more or less the same debt added to the fact that Pmo shareholders lost 95% to fund the takeover. Even with the increased production we are stuck at 20p. It’s difficult to be enthusiastic about the future.
I suppose someone will trot out the usual guff that the market doesn’t understand.

For this to improve we need a clear roadmap to instil some confidence. A divi would give long suffering shareholders some form of payback because buybacks rarely increase value in my opinion and are a complete waste of money.

It’s only natural that pi’s invested will talk up a share and are overly optimistic, They have skin in the game.
The other side are not invested and yet they give up their valuable time to talk down a share and sow discontent. The motive is clear, they wish you to sell. There is no other reason for their interest in this share.

Be sure to save some room for the Advocaat..........only on a special occasion though, like a share price rise.
Watch those pop tarts Potty, they can give you third degree burns if you leave them in too long.
