Matml74, I don’t disagree with anything you say. I just question the timing. They should have waited until the full MRE could be included with a higher valuation. It’s not as if there would’ve been even been a delay as it would still been on schedule.
We should be slowly building share value and not gong backwards. It puts us in a precarious position for takeover before we know what we really have.

Matml74, I was referring to the Mre infill drilling and yes they did say they had finished. Can’t remember the exact words but it was something along the lines that they would concentrate on infill drilling before moving in to growth, which the subsequently did. It is possible that they are still awaiting results, which begs the question why didn’t they wait until they were all in before publishing the PFS.

Thinking about the PFS, it does seem to have created some questions. No doubt it’s a big step forward, but would it have not been better to release alongside or at least with an updated MRE. I know they have answered the question in part in relation to timing, but the NPV does seem low and could be construed as a negative.

Also as stated, they didn’t have enough drilling to include all the MRE, yet we were told that all infill drilling was complete and they had moved onto growth drilling.

How on earth do they work out what fair market value for the 5%? With our gold baby growing at such a fast rate, how are we to get a good valuation with a 12 month time deadline.

Very interesting that Sandeep let slip that part of the deal for our loan was access to other areas (assuming juri) which would explain why the deal wasn’t as good for us.

I agree sandgrounded, my thoughts are that they will release the report when the market opens. How could they do a presentation at the same time as the release, everyone needs a chance to read through before. IMHO

Just to add some balance to the question about the need for SD to comment on share price decline. GH always commented on the share price reaction by the market and yet it made no difference.

Doubt it, NCM still haven’t announced Red Chris PFS (unless I’ve missed it) even though they said end of September.

Red Chris is the PFS to be released in the next few days, assuming no delay.
Will be interesting to see the report prior to our PFS. Better to get the little one out the way first. Lol

Rookie, I don’t think that’s entirely fair. You can’t dismiss the oil price crash. No company in their right mind would have invested with poo all over the place. Most of the blame sits at the OPEC’s door with all their games. Also with the push for green technologies many companies are having to make tough decisions in order to survive. Let’s not forget Pmo failed due to its debt.

Lenz, I agree it’s difficult to see how, but if the price is high enough then people will sell. That as you say doesn’t mean we would get best value. I personally can’t see them buying the 5% without taking the rest, or at least Hav on its own. There is also the train of thought that it could become too expensive for them in the long run.

DGR, I had a stupidly large percentage of my portfolio in here, but purely by chance had to sell 25% @ 36p as needed some cash. Subsequently I didn’t need all the cash so bought some back at 19p and at the time I thought it wouldn’t go any lower. Since I have had my original investment and more makes me feel much more relaxed.
The worrying thing is that had I not needed to sell at the time I would still be in balls deep. Lol

Shares with this much potential don’t come along too often so I’m happy to bend the rules.

Must admit I’ve been guilty of that on more than one occasion and not always for the best. That’s why everyone should have some idea of a price or at least take some off the table. As can be seen on here, you never know what’s round the corner in life. That said I agree with what Mcilroy said in that it’s a fluid journey. Will we be bought out, sell Hav or pay a dividend or even hit a second Hav.
I’ve already done very well on this share and don’t want to be too greedy.

I didn’t say what my exit price was, but it’s considerably higher than where we are now or even our recent high.

Notrader, you make a good point. We all have an exit price and if the resource carries on growing it leaves plenty of meat on the bone for the next investor. So unless you are here till the end then the size is less important as long as it passes your price.

We can all agree that the official figures are the only ones that count, however with all these results it can be difficult for the humble Pi or newbie to understand what they really mean. So much more involved than looking at a balance sheet as you would with any other investment and with all the exceptional grades we’re finding it does make you question why the share price is so low.
