Doug, the first absolutely crucial step is to establish if the $274m funds are genuine (I'm 100% certain they aren't), if they're not then I would be very surprised if a No Win No Fee US/UK lawyer will take the case on without a huge upfront payment which I'm sure most shareholders wouldn't be prepared to do, then it would be a case of going after Amit's own assets which is questionable at best.

The continued delays are probably more to do with Amit running down the clock on the six years limitation period rather than transferring his UK assets to other countries, at some point he will be legally untouchable.

All it takes is one person to sue Amit successfully which would then set a legal precedent (stare decisis) and open the floodgates for other pi's to do the same, however most pi's don't have the money to do it individually so a Class Action is the way to go.

Doug, rather than individuals suing Amit, have you discussed with Tim and maybe others the possibility of a group Class Action (like COPL is currently doing), I'm sure many pi's would be interested?
