Thanks for that. I'm sure I have seen this before, although that would confound the upload date stated here. I get his point of course, although I still maintain that as EVs are a replacement technology that replace a range of industries, as opposed to mobile phones for example, which were a new tech that embellished a single industry, their uptake is more complex and will be slower than stated here. After all, 'past performance is no guarantee of future performance' as they say. But I hope I'm wrong and he's right. After all, he's the expert.
Might pick up on on points at 18.05, on maintenance and reliability. There are some doubts about EVs when it comes to freezing or very hot temperatures, and the related failure of batteries and other components under these conditions. But I'm sure it's a modest issue that will be resolved.
It's a convincing presentation. Perhaps he's right.
As a slight aside, that list he puts up at about 8 minutes (see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/wxMhsyrZ ) is interesting. From an investment perspective. It's hard to know how to cover them all.
On the IoT/blockchain front, all I have is TERN, who own 53% of Device Authority - a security solution for IoT and BC. Robotics.. the best I can find is ABB although they're hardly going to multibag.
Solar, I have Meyer Burger tech, who make the production lines for making panels. (I noticed he doesn't mention wind)
I'm heavily over invested in batteries (Li and Co).
ANd the rest, I can't find anything. Any ideas?
