If anyone here can provide an argument that convinces me that my doubts are at least unnecessary, and at best unfounded, I'm all ears. I want to believe, I really do. I invested here expecting a 60mill mkt cap company back in about 2013 or so. Nothing has ever come of it. I think the whole PHE/Bond/W2t/AFC ring smells bad. I was a big investor in AFC once too. When Bond was going on about underground coal gasification. He got caught out on that one by polluting hundreds of square miles of Australian agricultural land. If this thing worked, it would be a godsend. To be sitting on such an investment would be a wonder. If it worked, do you not think these guys would be announcing it to the world?

If they released an RNS stating that they'd run a machine, of whatever capacity, for 3 months, 20 hours a day, 6 days a week, and it performed according to spec, and the lining of the gasification chamber had not cracked, then this share would fly. They know that. But they cannot provide that statement. And yet if the thing worked, as they imply that it does, they would be able to. Imagine yourself running this show.

I see a new round of mug punters here, all defending this thing. I was one 7 years ago. As time goes by, they drop out, fingers burned, to replaced by a new crop with the same, tired old arguments. It's bloody tragic. And before anyone says 'why don't you sell', my holding is worth less than one seventh of it's original value. It just isn't worth it. I've written it off and may as well let it run now, just in case in 2021... hahaha

They said the same thing 7 years ago!!! All that is required is for the system to run for 3 months. Are you seriously suggesting that they have not had 3 months available to run it? Of course they have. And they've announced nothing even as the share price declines. PHE, W2T and AFC are all associated with one another. There's no new commercial relationships here. AFC were already supposed to have provided fuel cells and haven't done so. The only conclusion that any rational person could reach is that the thing does not stand up to scrutiny when subjected to long term use. At best the tech isn't ready. At worst, it doesn't work. Hargreaves Lansdowne are not a shareholder ffs. They are a broker. My own shares were bought through HL and will constitute part of their 'shareholding'. Their large holding is down to the thousands of other small investor mugs also sitting patiently waiting.

I have no answer to that. Or rather, I really don't have the energy. How many years does this have to go on.... and what then if it doesn't work? In other words, what is there to be invested in other than a dream? A good one. But a dream. It should have been proven by now. They've had plenty of time. Nothing more to say. Investment written off. Hope for a pleasant surprise in 2021.

But there is one humungous elephant in the room. And that is that there is still no hard evidence of any real world, long term (3 months plus, 20 hours a day, 6 days a week) testing of this machine. Still no evidence that the fecking thing works. Why is it so hard to produce such evidence?

There are shady ops about. But I'm not in them, and still people are simply selling Li and Co miners all over the place. There's rarely any difference between the state of operations of these companies now from what they were three months ago, apart from all having progressed slightly. This seems to be a sentiment/panic/sheepherd thing. I look at my companies and I can't find a reason... with the possible exception of one... for not being invested. Apart from the fact that I'm losing a packet on them all. It's not just AIM companies. In fact, Aussie companies are the worst. They're all falling off a cliff.

You're right. Need to track the action every day. I was 70% up on sayona once, now breaking even. AIS, 70% down. And ditto Quantum Cobalt. All I can do is wait and hope that as things proceed, they recover. Only my own fault for being too optimistic. But I have a growing suspicion that the glory days may be over, and break even may be all I can hope for.

suffering in the Li miner sector generally? Every single one of my investments is slightly or seriously in the red now. Av 36% loss. That's Li, Co and Gr. 11 companies in all. Only the big multinationals are doing ok.

Open pit is highly unlikely. I've spoken to someone who lives there. Local environment is important.

There are competing analyses that suggest a contrary perspective, namely that there will inevitably be a shortage of LI after about 2021. Regardless, it's good that our project is calculated as profitable at a price 8000 dollars/tn (isn't it?)

True Myst. If it does amount to that, then what's needed is some announcement of something that says that. It's not obvious enough for the markets yet perhaps?
