Look at China. You're implying in your post that the entire German automotive sector is suddenly lost to any supplier outside of Germany. That's ludicrous.

Well why do you think all this govt stuff you're talking about is relevant? The Babis debacle is not slowing the issue of licences. Once we have those, and they will be issued regardless of politicking, we mine. Elections or no elections. Your post seems to suggest that you think some sort of status of government needs to emerge before we can proceed. The govt department responsible for issuing licences is following their due bureaucratic procedures, and will complete them in due course. Then funding will become available. It was ever thus.

That's just idiocy. What govt would issue such a statement? Especially when there's no need. Instead, wait for the imminent exploration licence for the last section, and the mining permits. Both of which will be issued in the normal way, as they would have been anyway had none of these political populist statements designed to win votes been made. Czech politicians themselves have already admitted to the media that what was said was mere politicking. That's the nearest you'll get to the statement you want. The politicking statements were in the same vein as the brexit populist nonsense spouted by Johnson et al. Telling people with a simple understanding of the world, what would appeal to their sense of nationalism.
