Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Thursdays have been fairly regularly our lucky days for RNS (proper RNS, not the 'reach' rubbish),
so I rather hope this late day spike in the share price is perhaps prescient of news from Acciona or Julich... unless there's something else we aren't expecting?
We will have to wait patiently, as always!
Well, that's that then, AIM shareholders lose everything whilst ASX holders are OK.
“ CNOOC has now agreed with the Company's proposal to drill the Jade prospect as a commitment well as soon as practicable within the best timing window. Discussions are currently taking place with parties interested in participating in the exciting opportunity that both Jade and Topaz offer.”
asap
Which is unfortunately not a reliable firm for 'analysis'.
To quote a employee report from glassdoor :
They are a China-based company, claiming themselves a "worldwide syndicated and customized business report provider". In fact, their "international" partnership is based on cooperations with a bunch of sweatshops from Pune, India, where a huge number of useless fake market research are produced. The "analysts" were working on clerk jobs to massively produce pointless and valueless "business advisory" reports that were generated by given templates with keywords replaced and structures reformatted.
"AFC Energy, which provides the championship’s hydrogen fuel cell – enabling the fleet of ODYSSEY 21s to be charged emission-free – used the Desert X Prix to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with Altaaqa, owner and operator of one of the world’s largest mobile diesel generator rental fleets. This will support the transition of the region’s power generation industry to zero emission solutions using AFC Energy’s hydrogen fuel cell technology. "

It would be nice if AFC was planning to sign deals at each and every X prix location!
Lucky we didn't get involved in this, looks to be even less productive from the top sands than Dempsey was!
Roll on the sale of our other assets....
LSE really is tripe at showing trade prices isn't it!
Nothing after 15:05, just flatlined...
Despite trading continuing merrily, current SP @63.70

Lucky we weren’t behind this in the Suez!

MV #EVERGIVEN, one of the largest (400m long / 59m wide) container ships in the world has wedged itself across the Suez Canal.
I agree with you there Daz, I'm glad they aren't leaving it all to chance and are happy to admit when they're out of their depth capability-wise. But as has always been the case, what matters more than anything else is not whether hedge funds or investment banks understand our offerings, pricing, or potential value, it's whether we can actually make sales. Sales and revenue more than anything are what we need to achieve in the next 12months.
So what exactly does "FTI Consulting ... retained as Public Relations and Financial Communications Adviser" mean we might ask?
Lets look at FTI's own description :
"Financial communications tend to be either defensive or offensive. On the defensive side, for example, companies may be experiencing a declining share price or a rising bond price. FTI Consulting strategic communications professionals are highly experienced at reaching and communicating with individuals who influence financial performance — stakeholders, institutions, mutual and hedge funds and security analysts. It is critical that these audiences understand a company’s key messages about corporate strengths, management strengths, corporate strategies and steps being taken to improve corporate performance. On the offensive side, financial communications should proactively reinforce these messages, particularly in the context of an IPO or acquisition."

So perhaps its not only us lowly shareholders who are bemoaning the declining share price... nice to see positive action being taken about it!
